Bring Force Touch to your Mac with the space gray Apple Magic Trackpad 2. With four force sensors underneath the trackpad surface, you’ll be able to click anywhere and have the Trackpad detect subtle pressure differences you apply for added functionality with Force Touch. The edge-to-edge glass surface area is almost 30% larger than the previous generation Magic Trackpad, so you’ll have more space to use multi-touch gestures. The Magic Trackpad 2 is also rechargeable, thanks to a built-in battery which can run for up to a month on a single charge. This allows it to have a lower profile, which makes scrolling and swiping more comfortable.
Magic Trackpad 2 pairs automatically with your Mac, so you can get to work right away.

I’m using this new Apple product in conjunction with a newish high end retina 5k iMac. there is less anxiety about blue tooth pairing as that function is now through the Lightning USB cable. same with the reduction in nuisance value of having to take out and put in the batteries of the previous model. as of writing this I don’t know if the new model rechargeable battery is user replaceable, which would make it a user friendly product. The new feature of force touch to look up the definitions of words in various applications is an efficient upgrade from the previous method of using an F key for the same function..but the force touch for definitions and the other menu it calls up is not 100% easy to use and a bit buggy still. The new trackpad is wider including a new swipe to reveal the notifications/today panel . worth the expense to me as I can sell my used old trackpad which I kept in good condition. But the I hold Apple shares so I upgrade where possible. I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars due to the above related concerns,, thanks

I have been amazed with the response from this unit with it hooked up to my MAC. It is as good or better than the pad on the machine itself.

I’ve used several trackpads. This seems to be the best one. Gives me a feel of actually what a coumputer should be like with touch control.

I love using this trackpad for everyday tasks. For more detailed work, I use a mouse. Everything else – this works great!

If you are to buy a trackpad for Mac, you won’t upset with this one. i think being expensive is its only cons, but I wouldn’t say it’s overpriced – simply because no other produces on the market can compete with it head-to-head.

Very easy to install and set up. Use it on my IPOad Pro 11 inch and it make navigating and moving around much easier. I use it with a IPad keyboard and makes my Ipad closer to a MacBook laptop. Wonderful device.

I use this on a Chromebox, with all of the Google/Chrome gestures. It works well, and better than any other existing trackpad I have tried.

This a must have if you connect your macbook pro with a mornitor. Apple’s trackpad on all it’s devices are so good and no other can get even close. we have to use a mouse with windows laptops because none of the touchpad on windows laptops is easy to use, not sensitive, not response, rough surface hurting my fingers. Those never happen with apple. we can use the trackpad without a mouse with ease and no problem.

I am so glad I bought this Apple Magic Trackpad. It is much easier to use and more efficient than the Apple Mouse. Additionally, B&H was swift in their shipping.

It took several days for us to get used to this tracker but even my 4 year old can scroll and select items on the screen.

Love this trackpad! Operates like a huge mouse pad on a laptop and has some very nice scrolling features; makes switching from pages and screens very easy and follows finger movements very accurately and smoothly. No regrets here thus far!

I had a lot of fears, but luckily I am very glad. Compare to mouse it is a really something new and advanced. I still have some problems, but I am an optimist. No come back to mouse.

Using the trackpad regularly, but it could use some better, detailed instructions on how to perform simple mouse maneuvers such as moving desktop icons, folders, etc., getting right click to display, ………. It appears to be hit or miss for these functions. Help?
