Bring Force Touch to your Mac with the space gray Apple Magic Trackpad 2. With four force sensors underneath the trackpad surface, you’ll be able to click anywhere and have the Trackpad detect subtle pressure differences you apply for added functionality with Force Touch. The edge-to-edge glass surface area is almost 30% larger than the previous generation Magic Trackpad, so you’ll have more space to use multi-touch gestures. The Magic Trackpad 2 is also rechargeable, thanks to a built-in battery which can run for up to a month on a single charge. This allows it to have a lower profile, which makes scrolling and swiping more comfortable.
Magic Trackpad 2 pairs automatically with your Mac, so you can get to work right away.

When I use my MacBook Pro at my desk, it sits on a stand and is connected to a docking station with external monitors. The Magic Trackpad 2, along with the Magic Keyboard are a perfect compliment, and very closely match the same feel as using the laptop directly. They’re a bit pricey, but I have no regrets purchasing them and highly recommend them.

If I had but known how fantastic and experience it was going to be using a Magic Trackpad, we would have invested the extra expense ages ago. We love it!!! It is so much more responsive than the Magic Mouse and I love the fact that you can charge Magic Trackpad 2 in the back of your iMac and still be able to browse with your iMac! This is not so with Magic Mouse. You have to charge it separately and it is unavailable during the charge. I love the fact that I can say Goodbye batteries!

I love editing with this trackpad. I often work remote on a MacBook Pro, so this allows me to transition back to my desktop with no lapses in getting used to the setup again! Plus, it perfectly matches my monitor stand and Logitech keyboard.

I find it easier and more efficient to use for Photoshop than Magic mouse mostly because you can’t zoom with the mouse.

Okay, it is better than a mouse sometimes, but not all the time. I am using it more in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, but it does not replace my pen and tablet.

I started to think about the new case for the i-pad, but then thought, hey, I already have a Zagg Rugged Case for my 11 i-pad pro, so just buy the trackpad 2 so I can use it with not only my i-pad pro, but my Macbook Pro 13 which I have connected to a 27 monitor. I was really shocked at how easy it was to use on both of them, and just made everything som much easier. Once the new case for the i-pad comes out where I can view it,,,I just may be satisified that the Magic Trackpad 2 is really all I need…plus,,,I’m saving some serious money!

The trackpad is perfect for work. All the functionality of the apple mouse, but better and stationary on my WFH workstation. Better for coding than an actual mouse as well. Battery lasts for ages and I haven’t had any connectivity issues Thanks to B&H for having it available. This wasn’t available at many other retailers.

I like using it though I have only used mice on an sustained bases before. It is nice the give my oldish hand a change from the mouse. Much of the time it is as good or better than the mouse, though I am still not as fast at PhotoShop with it I may yet learn to be. I like to use it with two hands I always work on a board in my lap; I move with my right index finger and clic with my left. The worst thing about is that it seem to much more frequently cause explanatory windows to pop up under it when you move it over anything. This results in my clicking on the window not the thing I wanted, though multiple clicks usually gets the job done.

The Trackpad 2 is large and responsive. Plugs in to charge, and can be used wireless. Nice addition to mouse and MacBook Pro for editing photos.

I do a lot of graphic design and then general computer work. I had the original trackpad and home and thought work should buy me one too. It’s so much better on my wrists when comparing to a mouse. You will quickly fall in love with all the shortcuts you can do (like you would on a laptop trackpad). Too many to mention!

I love using my magic trackpad! The click feels so satisfying and the surface is so smooth to touch. I no longer feel pain in my wrist from using a mouse all day.

Besides B&H’s fast and free shipping and no tax when you use their card the item arrived in perfect condition. It takes a little getting use to but the track pad makes it easier than using a mouse. Great product.

So much better than a mouse. I use this on my iMac doing photo editing in Lightroom and Photoshop and works really well for me with the brushes.

For now, Ive switched from mouse to trackpad for most uses. I expect to use the mouse when precision is needed. I may use the trackpad most of the time if I can get used to it. My main difficulty is running out of room when dragging. This trackpad seems very reliable and smooth, and I like the two-fingered scrolling.

It seems to do what my old one does, but it’s bigger than I like. Of course it doesn’t need batteries which is the best part about it.
