The space gray Apple Magic Wireless Keyboard with Numeric Keypad features an extended layout with document navigation and full-size arrow keys. The numeric keypad also allows for faster input of numbers, especially useful for spreadsheets and finance applications.
Each key features a scissor mechanism that allows for increased stability as well as optimized key travel. The low-profile design also provides a comfortable typing experience. The Magic Keyboard has a built-in battery that can power it for up to a month on a single charge (battery life may vary). When the battery is running low, you can recharge it with the included Lightning to USB cable.

I’ve been an Apple (Mac) user since 1987. And I’ve noticed, since the passing of Steve Jobs, the quality of Apple’s products leaves MUCH to be desired. I bought this keyboard in July 2020 and, within only a few months, the letter A had begun to fade. Now, the A is completely gone, and the S and E keys are beginning to fade. Of the various Apple keyboards I’ve owned over the years, NO letters had ever rubbed off. Apple should be embarrassed.

I have owned previously two iPad Pro 11in with keyboards and find the iPad 12.9 with Apple Magic keyboard more useful. The iPad12.9in with Magic keyboard works better and easier than my MacBook Pro laptop and may become a replacement for it. The touch pad on the keyboard works with different gestures for full control over the screen. It provides a small circular dot instead of a pointer on the screen and changes to a vertical line for editing when over text. I find the portability and protection for the screen to be a great asset and the ability to charge the iPad through the keyboard another plus with the option to charge on the iPad itself. The keyboard is back lit which helps in dimly lit conditions. The keys feel responsive and positive to the touch. I would recommend to buy to anyone, even with the high cost, who owns an iPad 12.9 as it truly increases the productivity factor.

I am Loving my new iPad Pro so far. Of course it’s light years ahead of the 2004 Apple iBook G4 that it is replacing (I know, I know…). Obviously there is somewhat of a learning curve with the differences but in a house with two teenagers to help, that’s been O.K. So far. I also got the “Magic Keyboard” with this iPad which of course also acts as a case. I don’t know if I’m more taken with the iPad, the Magic Keyboard or how they function together? – It is a joy to see perfectly functioning engineering like this! – I was concerned that I might not like the keyboard or that it would be too far off from the one I was used to, but I needn’t have been and actually like this keyboard better than my old one! Key function and sensitivity and keyboard size are great! – The iPad magnetically connects effortlessly with the Magic Keyboard and can charge from there too and when you want it disconnected for other uses, you just grab it and pull it off the keyboard component! – Once I’d set them both up my two aforementioned teenagers were even visibly impressed and I wondered if I sensed a little envy in their look even though they’ve had much further advanced electronic devices than their Dad for a long time up until this point. – It is fantastic and really does make it seem like a “real” laptop computer – or even better! Good Luck! & Cheers! M.

I really like the Apple keyboard. I only wish it was back-lit.

This is a wonderful product and does everything it says very well. Love the combination of keyboard and touchscreen One nagging annoyance. It is missing an ESC key and the soft-key subsitutes don’t work well. I will learn to use the screen, but this simple thing is like a bee in one’s hat.

I really like the Apple Magic Keyboard for my use and purposes. The weight of the keyboard is more substantial than I had been led to believe, which is nice. It instantly connects to my Macbook Pro vie bluetooth, and the internal battery lasts quite a long while (after two weeks it still had over 50% of power left). I’m used to only using the keyboard on my Macbook Pro, so the Magic Keyboard is a very familiar piece of hardware for me.

So far I’m enjoying it. This unit will lock your IPad in landscape mode….remember to unlock it to use in portrait mode. No numerical keyboard but still nice. I’ll update as I use it more.

Keyboard keys hit really nice and hard. No more butterfly switches! I use this more than my regular MacBook now. I absolutely love it.

Fast, clean, glad I got the extra keys. Charging is easy and I generally love wired keyboards but this works great.

So expensive and no function keys? No use of my pencil? Come on Apple…you are better than this. I wish I had watched more YouTube and written reviews. My wife has joked that I could get the same result using our IKEA book holder..!

Best keyboard I have had. Sleek, compact, battery lasts forever. Pairs easily to Mac mini and I have had no problems with it at all. Key travel is short and smooth, much nicer than the new butterfly keyboards on the newer MacBooks.

I had an Apple USB extended keyboard (several keys quit working). When I got the new wireless keyboard, I thought it would be the same thing, only without a wire. Boy was I surprised. The wireless keyboard is more responsive. Sometimes there were slight delays between when I typed a key and it would appear on the screen with the old keyboard. One the best things is I can type in any position because I’m not tied to the desk with a wire. I give it a five star rating.

Why Apple took so long to provide a wireless keyboard with a numeric keypad I have no idea, but this one is a good one in every way. It has all the most recent innovations that Apple has created for its keyboards. A great tactile feel when typing. Mainly, I like having a desk space that is not cluttered with various wires. And a keypad on the wireless keyboard. Great.

Great wireless keyboard, easy to connect to a Mac mini. It’s a little pricey though.

I upgraded from the wireless keyboard without numeric keypad and I am happy I switched. Love having numeric keypad on sleek wireless keyboard.
