The space gray Apple Magic Wireless Keyboard with Numeric Keypad features an extended layout with document navigation and full-size arrow keys. The numeric keypad also allows for faster input of numbers, especially useful for spreadsheets and finance applications.
Each key features a scissor mechanism that allows for increased stability as well as optimized key travel. The low-profile design also provides a comfortable typing experience. The Magic Keyboard has a built-in battery that can power it for up to a month on a single charge (battery life may vary). When the battery is running low, you can recharge it with the included Lightning to USB cable.

I have been using both Microsoft and this mac keyboard. However while the keys on the surface keyboard are excellent. This keyboard is AMAZING! great for all day use strait out of the box. The magic here is in the keys them selves requiring very little to no force needed to trigger a key stroke. This keyboard is a pleasure to use and can see using this for years to come.

I purchased this apple brand key board cause I had an older one for my Mac pro tower and loved it. I have used generic type keyboards which are ok, but for the price this one is no comparison. You pay for what you get and my old one is over 10 years old and doing well but since I had upgraded to a Mac mini I needed a new one since the old one is working well wit my tower.

Why, oh why do I have to be an Apple fanboy? It’s so unattractive. But look. As a MacBook Pro user who has his laptop hooked up to a monitor, I do need an external keyboard. After Apple ditched the wired version, I refused to indulge them on their wireless shenanigans, and went for a third party product. Big surprise: It’s not as good. Not as expensive, for sure, but saving forty dollars is not a bargain if you’re constantly unhappy. And keys that won’t respond, or are in the SLIGHTLY wrong position, or don’t give your fingertips the right feedback, are like a pebble in your shoe. Gotta spring for the real deal. So far, it’s still running on its first charge, so I can’t even really complain about the wireless thing. You win again, evil empire.

Slightly pricey (cheaper keyboards out there) but this one is rechargeable. If the battery ever dies, the lightning cord could just function as a wired keyboard. Long lasting battery and the percentage shows up in the bluetooth section of Mac.

I paid for the Apple logo. The extra $20 for this keyboard to be black seems ridiculous, but I paid it anyway because I wanted black. That’s the genius behind Apple marketing and sales I suppose.

I really like this keyboard, I am actually using it to write this review. Feels good to type with and it is easy to link with the IpadPro through Bluetooth. You can even use it with a pc.

I wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I do, even having read a bunch of glowing reviews. It really does take the iPad to a new place, and the keyboard itself is very very solidly built. Only potential gripes are the considerable expense and the extra bit of battery draw for the backlight on the keyboard (adjustable of course), but otherwise it’s a very nice bit of kit.

This is a great keyboard for use with a MacBook Pro, when it is on a stand connected to a docking station. The layout mirrors that of the laptop perfectly, and being wireless is great. It doesn’t need to charge often, which is also very convenient.
