The 13.3″ Retina Display has a 2560 x 1600 resolution at 227 ppi as well as 500 nits of brightness. It also supports the P3 wide color gamut which allows for more vibrant colors. This ensures true-to-life pictures with realistically vivid details, which are essential for graphic design, color grading, and editing. With True Tone technology, the white balance automatically adjusts to match the color temperature of the light around you for a more natural viewing experience.
The Magic Keyboard on this MacBook Pro has a redesigned scissor mechanism that delivers 1mm of key travel as well as an Apple-designed rubber dome that stores more potential energy for a responsive key press. There’s also a physical Esc key and an inverted “T” arrangement for the arrow keys. The Touch Bar places controls right at your fingertips and adapts to different apps to provide useful functions without having to navigate complex menus or memorize keyboard shortcuts. Replacing the function keys in the top row of the keyboard, the Touch Bar features a Retina-quality display and supports multi-touch input. The power button contains the Touch ID sensor, so you can quickly log into your MacBook Pro using your fingerprint. You can also use Touch ID to make purchases over the web, thanks to Apple Pay. Touch ID enables a quick, accurate reading of your fingerprint and uses sophisticated algorithms to recognize and match it with the Secure Enclave in the Apple T2 chip with “Hey Siri” functionality.
This MacBook Pro is powered by a 1.4 GHz Intel Core i5 Quad-Core (8th Gen) processor that features a burst speed of up to 3.9 GHz, while 8GB of 2133 MHz LPDDR3 onboard RAM helps to ensure smooth multitasking and also allows the computer to quickly access frequently used files and programs. The system memory cannot be upgraded.
For long-term storage of your files, this MacBook Pro is equipped with a 256GB SSD. If you want to add external peripherals, 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports support bi-directional transfer speeds of up to 40 Gb/s, while also supporting 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 and device charging. Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) is built-in for wireless networking, and Bluetooth 5.0 technology will allow you to connect additional compatible peripherals. There is a FaceTime HD webcam.
This Mac comes preloaded with macOS. Updates can be downloaded for free via the Mac App Store. Please check Apple’s website for upgrade eligibility.

This is my four MacBook Pro model in 10 years and the best one so far. The keyboard is back to feeling good and reliable. The 10th gen quad core I5 is snappy and makes it a pleasure to use. I wasn’t excited about the touch bar at first, but have to say it is really growing on me… Finally I like the four USB-C ports. Two on my last one were not enough and I always was looking for a dongle to expand the connections. Not any more.

I haven’t been disappointed yet with the Macbook Pro. Solid build quality and powerful performance. They are prone to get hot so I would recommend a cooling pad or just keep it on a flat and cool surface when doing graphics-intensive work.

I debated on getting the MBP vs the touchscreen 4K Dell XPS 15″ for the longest time… so after much thinking I settled on this one since the XPS was insanely priced and suitable for productivity whereas the MBP would work as a better companion for college. While I’m not an anti Windows nor anti Mac fan I love the fact that this release of the MBP removed their butterfly keyboard and replaced it with more clicky tactile keys. I did not realize MBPs had no on/off button, they simply turned on right after you flip the lid open. Other than the port problem and having to buy a USB hub or adapter to hook things in I don’t regret having bought this!

This is urgent! I ordered this laptop on 1 October 2020 and now the screen is dead( no resetting, or batt disconnecting helped, I had it checked with a professional Mac repairer). No external damage, no spill or anything like that at all. The other day I was watching a video and all of a sudden it went dark. I am extremely disappointed, i paid 1650 usd for this item and now after just 14 months its screen is dead…Please help
