The keyboard isn’t back-lite like the Magic one, but so what? You can’t use the Magic one just as a tablet unless you remove it first, because the Magic doesn’t fold back on itself.

I absolutely love this keyboard folio case! I love the texture of the keys, they type feel, and portability of it. I am writing this review with it! I have never bought anything from B&H before but this purchase had me become a grateful customer! There are only two things I wish the keyboard did have, a media control bar above the numbers, and some sort of backlight, but those two “wants” doesn’t mean I dislike this in any way because I LOVE this keyboard. 10/10 would recommend! 🙂

I needed a keyboard so I could type notes instead of writing all the time. It is magnetically attached with 2 sections to tilt the screen. When adjusting it, somethings this causes the iPad to detach from the case which can be scary if you are not prepared for that to happen.

I got this instead of the keyboard with a track pad and it’s enough for me. The magnets are great and the case is sleek. I wish it came in more colors.

Great protection and keyboard. Folds all the way over to allow using iPad just as a tablet, whereas the Magic one doesn’t. I only wish the keyboard was backlit.

I bought the Smart Keyboard Folio instead of the Magic Keyboard because I wanted something smaller and less costly. I’m happy I did. I just wanted a basic keyboard and a cover. It works as advertised. The only negative is that it’s a little heavier than I would have liked. It covers both sides, the older model only covers one side. I’m not disappointed.
