Use the black Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro from Apple to give your tablet a feel that rivals laptops. With its floating cantilever design, your 3rd and 4th Generation 12.9″ iPad Pro magnetically attaches to the Magic Keyboard for smooth viewing angle adjustments. Its full-size, backlit keys feature a scissor mechanism with 1mm travel for fast and quiet typing. The keyboard also has a built-in multi-gesture touchpad that allows precise interaction with iPadOS applications. A USB Type-C pass-through charging port is located on the keyboard folio’s hinge, freeing the iPad Pro’s port for peripherals such as external storage drives. Once you’re done, the keyboard doubles as a cover that protects the front and back of your iPad Pro.

Well it indeed look marvelous, but it is a little expensive
Otis Lynch (verified owner) –
The keyboard looks nice but the keys are a bit wonky and noisy. Not the same as a MacBook Pro keyboard.
Hermann Donnelly (verified owner) –
I love the touch on these they are so much better than what I had before not mushy.
Itzel Jaskolski (verified owner) –
Love the added functionality and the typical solid Apple build quality seen in this keyboard. It’s very well made ad work great. The keyboard and IPad 2020 make me want to grab this for meetings over my laptop every time.
Abby Simonis (verified owner) –
That’s what I did and I don’t regret my decision. It works as advertised, was delivered promptly, and met all my expectations.

Esthetically pleasing, great feel to the keys, and so far, functioning as expected!
Francesca Donnelly (verified owner) –
It works really well for my touch, and makes the iPad pro usable in more ways than I expected. Not cheap, but it does a great job. Even the trackpad, while not huge, is really well done.
Kristoffer Doyle (verified owner) –
solid and great keyboard especially for spread sheets and numerical items…little tough to get used to as the board is just slightly different the smaller version with regards to alignment of keys…
Mariam Goyette (verified owner) –
This keyboard works great and looks classy.

When I want to use my Macbook Pro with a external monitor with the cover closed the Magic Keyboard is a must. It is light, the battery last a lot before it is necessary to charge it.

I prefer external keyboards to laptop keyboards if I’m going to be doing very much work, so I purchased this Magic keyboard at the same time I ordered a new 16 Macbook Pro for video editing. I often elevate the Mac on a stand for better monitor viewing, but that makes using the onboard keyboard very awkward and tiresome. The Magic keyboard is wireless so I can move it to any position I want, and since it is so thin and lightweight–it also travels well, too! Love it.

Solid construction, keys have a positive feel, easy to set up.

Great keyboard, and was shipped and delivered in no time. Will definitely buy from B&H again. Not to mention lowest price in the internet.
Cecelia Schmitt (verified owner) –
This is a great keyboard for use with a MacBook Pro, when it is on a stand connected to a docking station. The layout mirrors that of the laptop perfectly, and being wireless is great. It doesn’t need to charge often, which is also very convenient.

I have been using Apple products since 1993, and this is the first time I’ve been disappointed. I purchased it to replaced my wired Apple keyboard that died after 10 years. I was surprised and disappointed to discover that to get to the bottom or the top of a Web page takes two keystrokes other than the single keystroke of my previous keyboard. Additionally, the keys are very cheaply made and noisy. I am also bothered by the fact there there is almost no tilt from the top of the keyboard to the bottom. I find this very uncomfortable for my wrists. Finally, I wish Apple would still offer a wired keyboard. To me, the wired keyboard feels more reliable and there’s no need to be charging the battery. Honestly, I really hate this little thing.

I have two of these, one for home and one for the office. Always awake, small and I can’t remember the last time I had to charge the battery.

I work for a startup and am in charge of hardware and software, and because we’re trying to have design cohesion with all of our hardware, we buy these Magic Keyboards for every new employee. Sure, they’re a bit pricey compared to sub-$100 keyboards, but the thinness and design is worth it in my opinion. I thought there’s no way it’s worth it when I started using it, but it connects effortlessly, types smoothly and quietly, and looks beautiful on the desk. I could definitely see myself splurging a bit and getting this and a trackpad for my home office.

I really don’t care for digital keyboards. This adds an excellent keyboard and touch pad for my 12.9 iPad. It is limited compared to keyboards on a full computer, but for the iPad it does all that is necessary. The iPad/keyboard combo is just outstanding for mobile computing!
