With its floating cantilever design, your 3rd and 4th Generation 12.9″ iPad Pro magnetically attaches to the Magic Keyboard for smooth viewing angle adjustments. Its full-size, backlit keys feature a scissor mechanism with 1mm travel for fast and quiet typing. The keyboard also has a built-in multi-gesture touchpad that allows precise interaction with iPadOS applications. A USB Type-C pass-through charging port is located on the keyboard folio’s hinge, freeing the iPad Pro’s port for peripherals such as external storage drives. Once you’re done, the keyboard doubles as a cover that protects the front and back of your iPad Pro.

This keyboard has great battery life. It’s sleek, slim and the typing experience is great. I only have one negative. I use this to connect to my MacBook Pro and I’m also using it to connect to a Dell laptop between work and home use. I have to reconnect to the MacBook after I’ve been using it on the Dell laptop even though the dell has been shutdown completely. If I don’t use the Dell it will reconnect every time.

I really like the Apple Magic Keyboard for my use and purposes. The weight of the keyboard is more substantial than I had been led to believe, which is nice. It instantly connects to my Macbook Pro vie bluetooth, and the internal battery lasts quite a long while (after two weeks it still had over 50% of power left). I’m used to only using the keyboard on my Macbook Pro, so the Magic Keyboard is a very familiar piece of hardware for me.

I’ve tried a lot of keyboards but haven’t found one that I really like except for my Macbook Pro’s internal keyboard. I’m really happy that I tried this one. It has the ‘Mac’ feel to it but the keystrokes are slightly longer which makes typing for me much easier than on any other keyboard I’ve tried. Battery life is really good, and it charges with a Lightning cable which I always have around.

Truly another great product from Apple. The keys feel great. The connection to the Mac is seamless. Not much can be said about a no frills keyboard, other than the color, which is pretty snazzy.

$350 is an insane price for a keyboard. But, they typing is responsive, comfortable, and appears instantly on screen as you work. No lag time. The track pad is excellent. Yes, i do miss the function keys, but there is no room for them. Very happy with purchase…..suck it up, spend the $$ and don’t settle for a cheaper Bluetooth substitute.

The magic keyboard is really nice in terms design and feeling of touches. The keys are even better than my old 2015 MBP which is also scissors keyboard. The travel is just right and the feedback is good. Pros: 1. Fit iPad Pro very well. 2. No Bluetooth required and thus you don’t need to switch whether you want to use keyboard. If you don’t need the keyboard, just grab iPad from it. Unlike the Bluetooth keyboard, you have to disconnect it otherwise, the on screen keyboard won’t show. 3. You can have a port for charge only and don’t take up the usb-c port. 4. Protective. This keyboard seems very strong. 5. Software integration is really good. Track pad works well. And it just feels like using a MacBook. Cons: 1. Very heavy. It is really heavy. I feel it is heavier than my iPad Pro. 2. When touch the number keys, there are chance that you will hit the edge of the iPad. The space between iPad and the keyboard is a bit tight. So you might hit iPad’s edge. 3. Some app and website might have issue with two fingers scroll on the track pad. 4. A bit noisier than my old MBP.

The thing about Apple made peripherals are build quality and incredibly tight integration with the Apple Ecosystem. It just works. It would be been the absolute best if the keys had a bit of travel; right now the typing experience feels a bit flat.

I saw Apple is unfortunately discontinuing the Space Grey Mac accessories, so I had to get my hands on the Magic Wireless Keyboard while they were still available. I quite enjoy Mac keyboards, especially for working from home. It seamlessly connects to my work Mac. The low profile makes it easy to quickly type. The Space Grey color is my favorite as it looks clean and for those that prefer darker colored accessories. If you can nab one, I highly recommend.
