Use the black Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro from Apple to give your tablet a feel that rivals laptops. With its floating cantilever design, your 3rd and 4th Generation 12.9″ iPad Pro magnetically attaches to the Magic Keyboard for smooth viewing angle adjustments. Its full-size, backlit keys feature a scissor mechanism with 1mm travel for fast and quiet typing. The keyboard also has a built-in multi-gesture touchpad that allows precise interaction with iPadOS applications. A USB Type-C pass-through charging port is located on the keyboard folio’s hinge, freeing the iPad Pro’s port for peripherals such as external storage drives. Once you’re done, the keyboard doubles as a cover that protects the front and back of your iPad Pro.

I work for a startup and am in charge of hardware and software, and because we’re trying to have design cohesion with all of our hardware, we buy these Magic Keyboards for every new employee. Sure, they’re a bit pricey compared to sub-$100 keyboards, but the thinness and design is worth it in my opinion. I thought there’s no way it’s worth it when I started using it, but it connects effortlessly, types smoothly and quietly, and looks beautiful on the desk. I could definitely see myself splurging a bit and getting this and a trackpad for my home office.

So far I’m enjoying it. This unit will lock your IPad in landscape mode….remember to unlock it to use in portrait mode. No numerical keyboard but still nice. I’ll update as I use it more.

This is a wonderful product and does everything it says very well. Love the combination of keyboard and touchscreen One nagging annoyance. It is missing an ESC key and the soft-key subsitutes don’t work well. I will learn to use the screen, but this simple thing is like a bee in one’s hat.
