Use the black Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro from Apple to give your tablet a feel that rivals laptops. With its floating cantilever design, your 3rd and 4th Generation 12.9″ iPad Pro magnetically attaches to the Magic Keyboard for smooth viewing angle adjustments. Its full-size, backlit keys feature a scissor mechanism with 1mm travel for fast and quiet typing. The keyboard also has a built-in multi-gesture touchpad that allows precise interaction with iPadOS applications. A USB Type-C pass-through charging port is located on the keyboard folio’s hinge, freeing the iPad Pro’s port for peripherals such as external storage drives. Once you’re done, the keyboard doubles as a cover that protects the front and back of your iPad Pro.

This keyboard is a wonderful addition to my iPad Pro. Typing is the best experience I’ve had on an iPad by a wide margin. The track pad is awesome. Solid, a bit heavy, but hey, it it wasn’t it would probably be flimsy. Worth the money even though it is expensive. I’d buy it again.

It is apple scissor-style keyboard which always worked great. The company came back to it after they tried the butterfly keyboard that created some issues to some users which led apple to provide a special coverage program on the keyboard itself, and they made the decision to come back to their scissor-style keyboard. I recommend it only if you need the extra num pad and fr some people that want to match the color space gray. It works great but if they have the small keyboard in space grey I would have bought that one as I don’t really need the num pad, I use it but don’t really need it.

This is a terrific keyboard with great typing feel for key travel and really long battery life. Also a beautiful design in Space Grey color. I had originally bought a cheaper usb keyboard in Space Grey from a third party and the spacebar started squeaking after a couple weeks of typing. This one pairs instantly over bluetooth and there is zero lag/delay.

Much better than the old wireless keyboards. Good feel. Also like that it is rechargeable instead of AA batteries. Overall size is smaller than I thought it would be and hence easier to fit on the desk, even with the numeric keypad

I really don’t care for digital keyboards. This adds an excellent keyboard and touch pad for my 12.9 iPad. It is limited compared to keyboards on a full computer, but for the iPad it does all that is necessary. The iPad/keyboard combo is just outstanding for mobile computing!

I am Loving my new iPad Pro so far. Of course it’s light years ahead of the 2004 Apple iBook G4 that it is replacing (I know, I know…). Obviously there is somewhat of a learning curve with the differences but in a house with two teenagers to help, that’s been O.K. So far. I also got the “Magic Keyboard” with this iPad which of course also acts as a case. I don’t know if I’m more taken with the iPad, the Magic Keyboard or how they function together? – It is a joy to see perfectly functioning engineering like this! – I was concerned that I might not like the keyboard or that it would be too far off from the one I was used to, but I needn’t have been and actually like this keyboard better than my old one! Key function and sensitivity and keyboard size are great! – The iPad magnetically connects effortlessly with the Magic Keyboard and can charge from there too and when you want it disconnected for other uses, you just grab it and pull it off the keyboard component! – Once I’d set them both up my two aforementioned teenagers were even visibly impressed and I wondered if I sensed a little envy in their look even though they’ve had much further advanced electronic devices than their Dad for a long time up until this point. – It is fantastic and really does make it seem like a “real” laptop computer – or even better!
