Use the black Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro from Apple to give your tablet a feel that rivals laptops. With its floating cantilever design, your 3rd and 4th Generation 12.9″ iPad Pro magnetically attaches to the Magic Keyboard for smooth viewing angle adjustments. Its full-size, backlit keys feature a scissor mechanism with 1mm travel for fast and quiet typing. The keyboard also has a built-in multi-gesture touchpad that allows precise interaction with iPadOS applications. A USB Type-C pass-through charging port is located on the keyboard folio’s hinge, freeing the iPad Pro’s port for peripherals such as external storage drives. Once you’re done, the keyboard doubles as a cover that protects the front and back of your iPad Pro.

I CAN FINALLY HAVE INTIMATE NIGHTS ALONE RESTING MY IPAD ON MY BELLY WITHOUT FEAR OF THE IPAD FALLING OFF THE KEYBOARD, PLUS A TRACKPAD! WORTH. EVERY. PENNY.

Works flawlessly with my iPad! I love it and would recommend to anyone!

Great keyboard – nice typing experience, connects to my Macbook well, battery lasts quite a while, light and convenient. Just wish it wasn’t so expensive 🙁

I really like this keyboard, I am actually using it to write this review. Feels good to type with and it is easy to link with the IpadPro through Bluetooth. You can even use it with a pc.

this thing is F@#&%*g sweet. has a nice feel to it and the floating screen is a nice touch. my wife loves it and its integration with the iPad is seamless.

I have a 2013 Mac Pro in my living room. There is a white Smal Kybrd and a white track pad there. in my bead room are the space gray ones and they all work good.

I really like the Apple Magic Keyboard for my use and purposes. The weight of the keyboard is more substantial than I had been led to believe, which is nice. It instantly connects to my Macbook Pro vie bluetooth, and the internal battery lasts quite a long while (after two weeks it still had over 50% of power left). I’m used to only using the keyboard on my Macbook Pro, so the Magic Keyboard is a very familiar piece of hardware for me.

If you enjoy typing (or have learned to enjoy typing) on an Apple Keyboard this is a great upgrade from the white version. I appreciate the ascetics of the space grey. The practical benefit is that it shows less grime over time.

got the new gray keyboard. excited not to see my food and finger marks so visible! hahaha. Seriously, looks like a keeper

The main problem is its just more fancy then functional. Its an uncomfortable keyboard to use…. even worse then the last one. nuf said

Solid construction, keys have a positive feel, easy to set up.

Love the feel and quality of the keyboard. It has met my expectations according to the specs and the advertisement. However it does drain the battery quite a bit.

It’s not the best keyboard in terms of typing experience. But it’s so pretty you forgive it. Connection is really easy as well.

Apple’s old (original) bluetooth wireless keyboard has a bit more noticeable key “travel” and greater resistance and “springiness” than this new bluetooth keyboard. I use both. The new Magic Keyboard is noisier in a hollow way and has less travel than the older keyboard. My advice to Apple is “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” or attempt to. The only clear advantage of the new Apple Magic Keyboard is that it is much more compact, has a lower profile while still maintaining a bit of a slant angle for typing, and does not use AA batteries that can die. This is USB cable rechargeable. It pairs wirelessly to an iOS device (iPhone or iPad) or pairs wired to a computer. The space between the keys is about the same as the older one, but the overall size is smaller than the older keyboard. Functionally, it works fine. But somehow even though it looks cool, it is less “satisfying” to type on than the old Keyboard, but I’m not entirely sure why that is. Perhaps because of the lack of tactile resistance, the noise, or the lack of springiness than the older one.

I love this keyboard! So easy to install. So glad it is rechargeable!

This keyboard works out perfectly for my iPad Pro 12.9. I love the following features: 1) iPad/keyboard interface without a bluetooth; 2) the great multi gesture trackpad; 3) the full size, backlit keyboard without a need of battery. 4) This keyboard enhances the functionality of iPad Pro and make it more useful. Some shortcomings: 1) the weight of the keyboard is a little heavy. 2) a little pricey.

Truly another great product from Apple. The keys feel great. The connection to the Mac is seamless. Not much can be said about a no frills keyboard, other than the color, which is pretty snazzy.

Great keyboard. Makes the iPad almost like a laptop.

Seamlessly connects to iPad Pro. Incredibly responsive and easy to use gestures carry over from IPad OS to the trackpad. The issue come with the hinge…It doesn’t adjust far back enough so the iPad tilted at a good position for viewing sits too close too the the keypad. Honestly, it feels a bit tight and claustrophobic. It’s not too heavy and super slim so it’s hands down the best case/keyboard/iPad Pro to notebook transformer
