Further improving the 11″ iPad Pro, Apple has added a few new advancements for upgraded performance, entertainment, and usability. Replacing the A12X processor, the A12Z Bionic has performance rivaling that of laptops available today, in addition to an eight-core graphics processor that handles everything from games to 4K video editing. Moreover, it’s still paired with a Neural Engine chip for advanced machine learning.
The iPad Pro’s display features the same Liquid Retina technology found on iPhones, and has a 2388 x 1668 resolution, ProMotion technology, wide color and True Tone support, as well as a 600 cd/m2 brightness rating. On the rear, Apple has added a 10MP ultra-wide camera, enabling different perspectives and multi-camera use. A newly added LiDAR scanner, which determines distance by determining light reflection, further readies possibilities for augmented reality and beyond.
With “Pro” in its name, the iPad now features five studio-quality microphones that capture clean audio and the quietest details. The combination of the pro cameras, audio enhancements, and its large display makes the iPad Pro a suitable mobile studio option for creative users. On the software side, iPadOS now supports trackpad inputs for an easier time navigating including mult-touch gestures. Lastly, Apple has opted for a USB Type-C connector rather than its traditional Lightning connector for additional features and broader compatibility with other devices.
This iPad comes preloaded with iPadOS. Please check your device settings for the latest available update.

For some reason, I just love the iPad Pro and always have. I feel like I get more focused, creative work done because it changes based on my needs. Touch input, Apple Pencil, keyboard, and now trackpad support. The software has just about caught up to the hardware and I’m here for it when I’ll be able to use this device to edit all my photos, videos, and do everything else on. P.S. Buy the Magic Keyboard. I know it’s expensive, but it’s way better than the Folio and only $120 more (Depending on size). For a way better backlit keyboard, trackpad, and extra USB-C port for charging, it’s totally worth it.

The retinal display is simply awesome. Facial recognition should be called “Nano Second Recognition “…It’s all in the new processor. Money well spent

I’ve owned every other iPad issued since the introduction 2010, including the initial ‘Pro which this purchase replaces. Apple’s iPad team learns from each iteration and the device only gets better. I’ll leave speed test to the pro reviewers. Suffice it to say this tablet screams. The extra screen real estate reclaimed by the absented home button is a huge win. So are the flattened boxed” edges. I never cared for the tapered bevels. This one is easier to hold and fits the various case options better. I’ve yet to use either the cellular option or pencil, though if both perform to the specs of the overall device than this will indeed be the best iPad yet.

The iPad plus magic keyboard is all I need. No more laptop!

Nothing specially novel to say about this device — it’s a really good tablet, but so was its predecessor; I will say that I much prefer the revised ‘square-edged’ case design. I seldom use my iPad to make images, but the improved lenses and sensors are nevertheless a welcome addition. I downsized from 256 GB to 128, since I found I never filled up the space. Face recognition is nice, though the iPad has to help me occasionally by pointing to the finger that’s covering its camera when I swipe up… This is my third iPad; before the first I said to myself (and my wife), I’ll never need one of those. But I said the same when CDs began to replace LPs. So now I see the virtues of this crisp, bright screen and rapid browsing capabilities, it’s my main interface with things I read on the web. I toyed with the idea of splashing out for the M1 version, but having just acquired an M1 MBP (from B+H), I realized I’d never use the iPad for any application that required that kind of power, so I took advantage of the way the M1 iPad depressed the price of this device.

Great for emails, zoom meetings, watching videos, and web browsing. I use it with the magic keyboard, and the typing experience is pretty much on par with a regular laptop. The browser on here is actually faster than on my 2 year old Windows laptop. Very happy with the purchase!

I shattered my husband’s older Ipad and I found this one as a nice replacement upgrade. I got it at a good price; it was just as described, quick ship and easy set up. I couldn’t be more happy with the purchase.

Updated from my iPad 2. Waited a long time for the next model to go to, and glad I went with the iPad Pro.

I use it for graphic design, animation, basic video editing. I use the new sidecar feature on MacOS to make this an extra screen for my MacBook when developing and I can use the stylus when drawing. It’s a great compliment to my MacBook as well as a good standalone portable device that could rival any laptop.

I bought my wife this model, because her iPad was full of glitches. A few months earlier I had gotten for myself a 2018 !2.9 Pro. Except for size, there is no discernible difference. Both are the best portable content consumers out there. Both are extremes and their price reflects it. A portable lives a tough life, even if it isn’t stolen, every trip is fraught. But the Pro occupies a unique position. Frankly the 12.9 is barely portable, but the visuals are great, and the sound from the speakers is unmatched. Fine job of shipping by B & H, though they should have requested a signature. We live in a respectable building, but a single buzz on the intercom doesn’t strike me as secure delivery.

It is a great iPad. I love it. Now I have to buy a new pencil and case. I would like to have a hub and then there is the Magic keyboard… The accessories could cost as much as the iPad.

I decided to substitute the use of my laptop with my iPad Pro. I purchased the apple magic keyboard and realized the this iPad Pro is must faster than my laptop and also more easily to travel with the battery life is much longer than my laptop. Those are the reasons why I give the new 2nd generation iPad Pro a 5 star rating.

I have had an iPad since the first one was created and love the quality and battery life. The performance of an iPad is second to none. I recommend iPad to anyone. The iPad picture and video quality Is just as good or better than buying an expensive camera that claims to deliver outstanding picture and videos. The iPad is light weight and easy to transport. Best value and quality that can be trusted!
