Further improving the 11″ iPad Pro, Apple has added a few new advancements for upgraded performance, entertainment, and usability. Replacing the A12X processor, the A12Z Bionic has performance rivaling that of laptops available today, in addition to an eight-core graphics processor that handles everything from games to 4K video editing. Moreover, it’s still paired with a Neural Engine chip for advanced machine learning.
The iPad Pro’s display features the same Liquid Retina technology found on iPhones, and has a 2388 x 1668 resolution, ProMotion technology, wide color and True Tone support, as well as a 600 cd/m2 brightness rating. On the rear, Apple has added a 10MP ultra-wide camera, enabling different perspectives and multi-camera use. A newly added LiDAR scanner, which determines distance by determining light reflection, further readies possibilities for augmented reality and beyond.
With “Pro” in its name, the iPad now features five studio-quality microphones that capture clean audio and the quietest details. The combination of the pro cameras, audio enhancements, and its large display makes the iPad Pro a suitable mobile studio option for creative users. On the software side, iPadOS now supports trackpad inputs for an easier time navigating including mult-touch gestures. Lastly, Apple has opted for a USB Type-C connector rather than its traditional Lightning connector for additional features and broader compatibility with other devices.

As much as I try to not get stuck in the Apple ecosystem, the iPad is still the best tablet with great performance, regular update and high quality app. The recent OS update also made a big difference in usability as a portable computer that I can also use to read and draw

It is also very useful for creatives when utilizing the Apple Pencil. Unfortunately, in order to unlock the full potential this additional external devices will come at a price.

I was hesitant to buy brand new, but now I’m so glad I did. I wanted something compact and convenient for travel that could also be efficient for doing my college coursework. It has been a DREAM. I’m still learning some of the features because there’s so much to this device, but I am loving it. It came in plastic, brand new, fresh out of the box as promised. I was always able to use my paypal credit to allow me to make payments versus having to pay it outright and potentially be disappointed. This is my first iPad/tablet so I was really hoping that it would work for the purposes I intended. My MacBook Pro mostly stays attached to external drives and a monitor so I wanted to be able to sit somewhere other than at my desk to do email and other things online. I especially wanted to be able to easily read downloaded pdfs of articles. For this task, the iPad is really better than the laptop because I can turn it to a vertical orientation and see whole pages at once at very nearly the same size as if I had a physical book. Also, the touch screen makes it easy to highlight passages – easier for me than with a mouse or trackpad. The controls seem intuitive and I don’t miss having a home button. So, I’m very pleased with the purchase. It works very well for what I want and I look forward to exploring more of its features

This is my second iPad (first was iPad Air 64 GB) and the battery is not lasting at all like it should be. It is an 2020 11 iPad Pro. 1 TB and was bought brand new. I can watch the battery percentage visibly going down. I know that they state that it is too late for a return, but I hope something can be done about it, since it is brand new and cost almost $1200 including taxes. Otherwise it has great visibility and size, features, etc. Thank you.
