Now featuring an all-screen design, the Space Gray Apple iPad Air has a 10.9″ Liquid Retina Display with a 2360 x 1640 resolution at 264 pixels per inch (ppi). The Liquid Retina Display still has all the features you expect, such as P3 wide color gamut coverage, True Tone, anti-reflective and fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coatings, 500 nits of brightness, and support for the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil (sold separately). The screen isn’t the only thing that got improved. The iPad Air now houses the A14 Bionic chip, providing the performance boost you need to handle 4K video editing, play immersive games, and more. There is also 64GB of storage capacity.
The iPad Air now features a 12MP rear camera, the same one found on the iPad Pro. The rear camera can be used to capture high-res photos and 4K videos. The iPad Air also has a 7MP FaceTime HD camera as well as stereo speakers when in landscape mode. For connectivity, the iPad Air features dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0. You still get Touch ID with the iPad Air. It is now integrated into the top button. Touch ID uses your fingerprint to provide a safe and secure way to unlock your iPad Air as well as log into apps and use Apple Pay. Apple has replaced the Lightning connector with a USB Type-C port on the iPad Air, allowing for additional features and broader compatibility with other devices.
This iPad Air comes preloaded with iOS. Please check your device settings for the latest available update.

This iPad is sleek and performs well without breaking the bank, as always B&H ships fast and advertises everything clearly with a nice price.

Having had almost every iPad except the iPad 1, this is the best I’ve ever had. Big screen, fast Processor, nice feeling the hand. I love mine so this one went to a friend in Ecuador. thanks for the quick ship and easy time in the on-line store.

This is a powerhouse of a device, and for a price that’s comparable to that of a lovely mid-ranged laptop. It’s a shame they couldn’t put an OLED screen in here though. You start to get used to the crazy color contrast you get with those things. Regardless, this is one of the best devices Apple has released in the past decade, and for what I’d consider to be a fair price. (Accessories on the other hand are stupid expensive. Looks like the razor and blades tactic. Everything else you can get from a third party, you should.)

A great upgrade from an older iPad–expensive, but worth it.

Our new 4th generation 64GB iPad air is a great compromise between the iPad Pro and the standard iPad. It has enough storage for a family images and apps situation. It has a faster processor and is speedier than the standard iPad and the price falls in the middle ground.

Very happy with these, as were our staff. We purchased these as an extra bonus for those who continued to work with us through the pandemic.

this iPad is a huge step up from my iPad Air 2. Though it’s slightly heavier, the image is much clearer. It’s really noticeable when video conferencing or talking.

Although we had to wait a bit, the new IPAD Air V4 was well worth the wait. It has done everything we hoped it would..

Bigger screen, better screen, faster, it’s a wonderful device. Minus – earphones, earbuds are not included. There is no way to plug in older apple earbuds. The power connector is new, so old chargers don’t work. How about more continuity Apple?

My wife got this after her really old iPad’s screen cracked into dozens of pieces falling on the floor. This 4th gen looks and feels great. We were especially pleased with B&H shipping. Apple was backed up 10 days or more; B&H got it to us day after next – 2 days.

Bought this for my wife. She loves to cook and bake. Instead of looking at her iPhone now she looks up the recipes on the iPad. She loves it.

I was looking to upgrade to the latest iPad Mini but since it is not being released for a while, I decided to go with the latest iPad Air since I was having issues with my older mini. While I like the smaller size of the mini, I am adjusting well to the Air. It is much faster and I shouldn’t have to worry about running out of memory any time soon. It hasn’t taken long to get used to the lack of a home button, the new swipe patterns and the touch ID. Overall I am pleased with the upgrade.

New design. Fast and a great step if you want to move to the IPad Pro

The display is phenomenal, if you are considering it, just do it. I have been an android user for years and so happy I waited for this gen before dipping into Apple iOS. The experience is wonderful! However, sidecar to macbook took some serious trouble shooting– even with the latest M1 macbook and the latest iOS on iPad, there was still a bug I had to work around. Otherwise flawless!

Coming from a 2017 iPad Pro 10.9. This iPad Air a good book reader and email checker. I needed a lot more from it, especially the flash light feature. I have poor vision and depend on the flash light to give me the extra light I need at times to walk about in the evenings around the house. Or to fix things that are in shadows. The other thing I didn’t like was no physical home button. I truly miss that. The virtual home button feature is a godsend but it gets often in the way of what I need to do onscreen so I am continuously relocating it. I cant use Siri because I can’t talk so I depend on the home button for navigation. Then there was the USB-C port for charging. Had to buy adaptors and new charging cords because my lightning ones don’t fit. I ended up giving it to my husband as a replacement for his 2014 iPad. He uses it to read and play solitaire in bed before dozing off. He too is annoyed by the lack of a physical Home button. My elderly neighbor got the exact same model to replace her 2015 ipad and she absolutely loves it. It’s a great device at a good price if you don’t need the features of an iPad or iPad Pro. Hers is paired with her iWatch and she uses her iPad Air to track her blood glucose and other health issues.
