Now featuring an all-screen design, the Green Apple iPad Air has a 10.9″ Liquid Retina Display with a 2360 x 1640 resolution at 264 pixels per inch (ppi). The Liquid Retina Display still has all the features you expect, such as P3 wide color gamut coverage, True Tone, anti-reflective and fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coatings, 500 nits of brightness, and support for the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil (sold separately). The screen isn’t the only thing that got improved. The iPad Air now houses the A14 Bionic chip, providing the performance boost you need to handle 4K video editing, play immersive games, and more. There is also 64GB of storage capacity.
The iPad Air now features a 12MP rear camera, the same one found on the iPad Pro. The rear camera can be used to capture high-res photos and 4K videos. The iPad Air also has a 7MP FaceTime HD camera as well as stereo speakers when in landscape mode. For connectivity, the iPad Air features dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0. You still get Touch ID with the iPad Air. It is now integrated into the top button. Touch ID uses your fingerprint to provide a safe and secure way to unlock your iPad Air as well as log into apps and use Apple Pay. Apple has replaced the Lightning connector with a USB Type-C port on the iPad Air, allowing for additional features and broader compatibility with other devices.
This iPad Air comes preloaded with iOS. Please check your device settings for the latest available update.

This 4th generation iPad Air does what it’s supposed to, and the 256 GB of storage helps a lot. The graphics are great, as is the performance in general. It’s replaced my 2nd generation iPad, which was slow by modern standards and had only 16 GB of storage. So I suppose it’s easy to see why I like the new iPad Air 4th generation so much (even though I had to get a HyperDrive dock to use my earphones with it). I’m sure the new iPad Pro is faster and all that, but if you can get by with less (and with a previous-gen processor), the iPad Air is worthy of consideration. (Whatever you do, buy a case or some kind of protection for your iPad. Skinny, slick and slippery, they are. . . .)

Bought this for my wife. She loves to cook and bake. Instead of looking at her iPhone now she looks up the recipes on the iPad. She loves it.

I called B&H immediately when my Apple iPad Air arrived. It came just in time before Christmas. Two days before Christmas I told our granddaughter that we will not be able to Facetime with you because the iPad that I ordered would not arrived till after Christmas. Our granddaughter ws so disappointed. On Christmas day and wife and I were able to Facetime with our granddaughter. She was so overjoyed to see us that see started crying. You guys came through for us and we will never forget that you did for us. We are so appreciative.

I buy this iPad replacing my iPad 7 gen, Just something to surf the web and social media on and play the occasional game. The speakers on this thing are INCREDIBLE. So loud and full of depth, it’s great to stream music off of. Recommend this for the regular user, and with it’s new A14 Bionic processor, this thing can handle some serious multitasking for you. If you’re could not buy an iPad Pro, I recommend you consider this as an option instead, unless video editing is something you’re planning to do constantly. This iPad It has served me well so far.

I was looking to upgrade to the latest iPad Mini but since it is not being released for a while, I decided to go with the latest iPad Air since I was having issues with my older mini. While I like the smaller size of the mini, I am adjusting well to the Air. It is much faster and I shouldn’t have to worry about running out of memory any time soon. It hasn’t taken long to get used to the lack of a home button, the new swipe patterns and the touch ID. Overall I am pleased with the upgrade.

The new iPad Air is sleek and features a large screen. Apps run much more quickly than on my 5-year old iPad Pro. While this is a nice tablet PC, after several days of use the the touch screen stopped working. It took several hours of research and frustration to get it working again. Except for the touch screen issue, I’m happy with my new iPad Air and hope to use it productively for many years.

Our new 4th generation 64GB iPad air is a great compromise between the iPad Pro and the standard iPad. It has enough storage for a family images and apps situation. It has a faster processor and is speedier than the standard iPad and the price falls in the middle ground.

This is my fourth IPad, I have owned and the best one yet! I wanted a larger screen for surfing the web, shopping and gaming and this does the job! I added the Apple Pencil which works well and I’m still thinking about adding the magic keyboard. Nothing negative to say…love Apple!

I love the iPad Air 4. Not originally an Apple Devotee, I would not trade this tablet for a winning trifecta ticket at Church Hill Downs.

Coming from a 2017 iPad Pro 10.9. This iPad Air a good book reader and email checker. I needed a lot more from it, especially the flash light feature. I have poor vision and depend on the flash light to give me the extra light I need at times to walk about in the evenings around the house. Or to fix things that are in shadows. The other thing I didn’t like was no physical home button. I truly miss that. The virtual home button feature is a godsend but it gets often in the way of what I need to do onscreen so I am continuously relocating it. I cant use Siri because I can’t talk so I depend on the home button for navigation. Then there was the USB-C port for charging. Had to buy adaptors and new charging cords because my lightning ones don’t fit. I ended up giving it to my husband as a replacement for his 2014 iPad. He uses it to read and play solitaire in bed before dozing off. He too is annoyed by the lack of a physical Home button. My elderly neighbor got the exact same model to replace her 2015 ipad and she absolutely loves it. It’s a great device at a good price if you don’t need the features of an iPad or iPad Pro. Hers is paired with her iWatch and she uses her iPad Air to track her blood glucose and other health issues.

Bigger screen, better screen, faster, it’s a wonderful device. Minus – earphones, earbuds are not included. There is no way to plug in older apple earbuds. The power connector is new, so old chargers don’t work. How about more continuity Apple?
