Now featuring an all-screen design, the Space Gray Apple iPad Air has a 10.9″ Liquid Retina Display with a 2360 x 1640 resolution at 264 pixels per inch (ppi). The Liquid Retina Display still has all the features you expect, such as P3 wide color gamut coverage, True Tone, anti-reflective and fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coatings, 500 nits of brightness, and support for the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil (sold separately). The screen isn’t the only thing that got improved. The iPad Air now houses the A14 Bionic chip, providing the performance boost you need to handle 4K video editing, play immersive games, and more. There is also 256GB of storage capacity.
The iPad Air now features a 12MP rear camera, the same one found on the iPad Pro. The rear camera can be used to capture high-res photos and 4K videos. The iPad Air also has a 7MP FaceTime HD camera as well as stereo speakers when in landscape mode. For connectivity, the iPad Air features dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0. You still get Touch ID with the iPad Air. It is now integrated into the top button. Touch ID uses your fingerprint to provide a safe and secure way to unlock your iPad Air as well as log into apps and use Apple Pay. Apple has replaced the Lightning connector with a USB Type-C port on the iPad Air, allowing for additional features and broader compatibility with other devices.

Fastest Apple device I’ve ever known. Responsiveness is near instantaneous. Works flawlessly with the Apple Pencil. I love the tap-to-take-a-note feature! Let’s see if I remember to use it. I also love that it has speakers on both sides, finally! True stereo, finally! Screen is very nice, but white temp seem warmer than other Apple devices (yes, with Night Shift off). Can’t wait to use it on the go with my a7S III.

This is my first iPad. I’ve wanted one for a long time to join my iphone and macbook air in helping me to create, play, learn, and relax. I love the screen. I prefer touch ID over face ID. Some of my favorite iphone games are way better on this larger screen. Zoom sessions are also much better than on my iphone or old macbook air. People now ask me about my houseplants in the background that they can see clearly now. I love the green color. I intend to use it to edit photos. I buy this iPad replacing my iPad 7 gen, Just something to surf the web and social media on and play the occasional game. The speakers on this thing are INCREDIBLE. So loud and full of depth, it’s great to stream music off of. Recommend this for the regular user, and with it’s new A14 Bionic processor, this thing can handle some serious multitasking for you. If you’re could not buy an iPad Pro, I recommend you consider this as an option instead, unless video editing is something you’re planning to do constantly. This iPad It has served me well so far.

Everybody knows that apple ipad is well THE APPLE iPAD. No surprises. It took me several hours to get used to the new swipe and lack of old home button. Got extra annoyed with the lack of choices for cases and swore when I couldn’t use my old gen 1 apple pen. Blah blah blah. . . The most important thing in the whole ipad purchase is how much I love b&h. As you are getting bigger, don’t lose the personal touch!
