Now featuring an all-screen design, the Green Apple iPad Air has a 10.9″ Liquid Retina Display with a 2360 x 1640 resolution at 264 pixels per inch (ppi). The Liquid Retina Display still has all the features you expect, such as P3 wide color gamut coverage, True Tone, anti-reflective and fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coatings, 500 nits of brightness, and support for the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil (sold separately). The screen isn’t the only thing that got improved. The iPad Air now houses the A14 Bionic chip, providing the performance boost you need to handle 4K video editing, play immersive games, and more. There is also 64GB of storage capacity.
The iPad Air now features a 12MP rear camera, the same one found on the iPad Pro. The rear camera can be used to capture high-res photos and 4K videos. The iPad Air also has a 7MP FaceTime HD camera as well as stereo speakers when in landscape mode. For connectivity, the iPad Air features dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0. The iPad Air also supports LTE Mobile Broadband, allowing you to connect from anywhere you get a signal from the carrier of your choice (data plans sold separately). You still get Touch ID with the iPad Air. It is now integrated into the top button. Touch ID uses your fingerprint to provide a safe and secure way to unlock your iPad Air as well as log into apps and use Apple Pay. Apple has replaced the Lightning connector with a USB Type-C port on the iPad Air, allowing for additional features and broader compatibility with other devices.

Loved the old iPad and so did my German Shepherd puppy! He crushed the screen and made using the iPad a little difficult. The new iPad is even easier to use and manage apps. Will check to see if the old screen can be replaced and use it for a back-up and puppy duty.

This is my first iPad. I’ve wanted one for a long time to join my iphone and macbook air in helping me to create, play, learn, and relax. I love the screen. I prefer touch ID over face ID. Some of my favorite iphone games are way better on this larger screen. Zoom sessions are also much better than on my iphone or old macbook air. People now ask me about my houseplants in the background that they can see clearly now. I love the green color. I intend to use it to edit photos. Upgraded from iPad Air 2nd Gen that was showing it’s age. Migration process needs improvement. Most stuff carried over but process got hung up when it came to previously installed Apps and Photos. Had to reinstall Apps individually, transfer Photos through cable and reorganize Photo Albums because they didn’t transfer. Setbacks aside, I’m excited to work with this iPad going forward.

Wonderfully quick and responsive iPad with great screen size. I had upgraded from an iPad 6 and found the switch to Apple Pencil 2 (with magnetic storage and charging on the side of the ipad) along with the larger screen size, to be welcome changes. Since I didn’t need an advanced camera or better speakers, the only practical downside doesn’t have Center Stage, but it was a trade off worth making. I had almost gone with the 9th generation budget iPad, but I’m really glad to make the switch to the new pencil and larger screen for PDF reading.
