Now featuring an all-screen design, the Silver Apple iPad Air has a 10.9″ Liquid Retina Display with a 2360 x 1640 resolution at 264 pixels per inch (ppi). The Liquid Retina Display still has all the features you expect, such as P3 wide color gamut coverage, True Tone, anti-reflective and fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coatings, 500 nits of brightness, and support for the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil (sold separately). The screen isn’t the only thing that got improved. The iPad Air now houses the A14 Bionic chip, providing the performance boost you need to handle 4K video editing, play immersive games, and more. There is also 256GB of storage capacity.
The iPad Air now features a 12MP rear camera, the same one found on the iPad Pro. The rear camera can be used to capture high-res photos and 4K videos. The iPad Air also has a 7MP FaceTime HD camera as well as stereo speakers when in landscape mode. For connectivity, the iPad Air features dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0. The iPad Air also supports LTE Mobile Broadband, allowing you to connect from anywhere you get a signal from the carrier of your choice (data plans sold separately). You still get Touch ID with the iPad Air. It is now integrated into the top button. Touch ID uses your fingerprint to provide a safe and secure way to unlock your iPad Air as well as log into apps and use Apple Pay. Apple has replaced the Lightning connector with a USB Type-C port on the iPad Air, allowing for additional features and broader compatibility with other devices.

I had been thinking about the 11 iPad Pro when the 4th gen Air was released. I’m very happy with my decision to go with the Air. Good battery life and great performance. I also like that it has USB-C rather than a Lightning port. I usually go for grey Apple products, but this sky blue was on sale. It’s a great color. It’s more silver, with a hint of blue, than I was expecting … which is a good thing in my opinion.

The new iPad Air is sleek and features a large screen. Apps run much more quickly than on my 5-year old iPad Pro. While this is a nice tablet PC, after several days of use the the touch screen stopped working. It took several hours of research and frustration to get it working again. Except for the touch screen issue, I’m happy with my new iPad Air and hope to use it productively for many years.

This is my first Air, and it is just wonderful. I appreciate the larger viewing area (from my previous 9.7 iPad) and better sound. The faster processing time means this will become both a work and play tablet. I can read for longer periods of time without my hands getting tired from holding it. And I do love the Sky Blue color. I buy this iPad replacing my iPad 7 gen, Just something to surf the web and social media on and play the occasional game. The speakers on this thing are INCREDIBLE. So loud and full of depth, it’s great to stream music off of. Recommend this for the regular user, and with it’s new A14 Bionic processor, this thing can handle some serious multitasking for you. If you’re could not buy an iPad Pro, I recommend you consider this as an option instead, unless video editing is something you’re planning to do constantly. This iPad It has served me well so far.

I was looking to upgrade to the latest iPad Mini but since it is not being released for a while, I decided to go with the latest iPad Air since I was having issues with my older mini. While I like the smaller size of the mini, I am adjusting well to the Air. It is much faster and I shouldn’t have to worry about running out of memory any time soon. It hasn’t taken long to get used to the lack of a home button, the new swipe patterns and the touch ID. Overall I am pleased with the upgrade.

I have a MAC, but this iPad has basically replaced my daily use of a desktop. I live in the Apps, doing emails, social sites, shopping, play music, watch videos. The power of the new chips means everything I do is snappy. I can have multiple apps open, multiple tabs in a browser open, and it all works effortlessly. The productivity on the iPad is incredible compared to the Android tablets. You can do actual work, the same as you were doing on a desktop computer. Battery life is good at a day between charges, and I’m actively using it all day.
