The Apple 10.2″ iPad features the Retina display with a 2160 x 1620 resolution for crisp details and vivid colors, making it an ideal companion for watching movies, creating content, and much more. The previous A10 Fusion chip is replaced with the A12 Bionic chip, which is more powerful and supports Neural Engine machine learning. Moreover, its Smart Connector offers Smart Keyboard support for comfortable typing, while its display is compatible with the 1st gen Apple Pencil, so users can write and draw. With front and back cameras, the iPad can take photos, capture video, scan documents, make FaceTime calls, and provide AR capabilities. Connectivity-wise, it’s equipped with Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 4.2, a Lightning connector, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The iPad Air also supports LTE Mobile Broadband, allowing you to connect from anywhere you get a signal from the carrier of your choice (data plans sold separately). Its li-polymer battery is rated for up to 10 hours of use to keep you going throughout the day.

I was once a firm believer that a tablet isn’t something useful – especially if you already own a desktop, smart phone, and a laptop. I was SORELY wrong after deciding to try out the 8th gen iPad. Sound quality is great, and the 10.2 is nice and vibrant. The battery life for this iPad is phenomenal for it’s screen size. For the price, this was an excellent purchase for a first-time buyer! It’s extremely-lightweight, and very useful for doing tasks that would be a bit cumbersome on your smartphone (e.g. having a recipe open while cooking, reading an eBook, checking email). This tablet’s processor is very impressive, as I was able to navigate from app-to-app without as much as a hitch. You can also have multiple apps open at once and interact with them on the same screen using the multi-tasking feature.

So glad Apple increased base storage. 16GB was never enough. These iPads last forever with screen protector and simple case so they only get replaced when old iOS won’t support newer apps.

I bought this iPad for my husband. He had an old one that simply was out of date and didn’t have enough memory. Delivery was as promised, package was secure, and it was the lowest price I could find online at the time. My husband loves his new iPad! It runs much faster and he hasn’t had any lag time or issues with memory. I’m so glad I bought the 128GB. Definitely a great purchase, as is the same for everything I’ve purchased from B&H.

I ordered the Apple 10.2 iPad 8th Gen, 128 GB. A USC-C charger was included. I also ordered the Logitech Slim Folio keyboard cover. They arrived on schedule in the same box. They were well packed and showed no flaws or blemishes from handling. I was surprised to find the iPad half charged. My wife has an early iPad but this was my first one; I was surprised at its light weight compared to the older one. I plan to use it mainly to research and write documents around the house and on the go. I’ve been using it for a week and so far it works very well. My main complaint about the iPad (OS 14.6) is its incredibly antiquated split-screen feature. I can only open two windows side by side, and then with difficulty. I can only resize the screens by sliding a divider back and forth, which seems very finicky (maybe it works better with a stylus). I would like to be able to open, say, a Google Doc in one window and a Google Sheet in another, and arrange them on the screen as I please. Maybe I’m missing something, but I’ve seen similar complaints elsewhere. This split-screen feature seems so incredibly un-Apple; it reminds me of my 1980s Kaypro II and its cp/m software. Otherwise, I’m well pleased with the iPad and Slim Folio. I find my medium-size fingers can touch-type on the small keyboard without difficulty and I think the keys have a good feel.

At this point, if you dont know what an Ipad is, I guess you need to check to ensure you haven’t traveled from a time in the past when Ipads were not in existence. Otherwise, this purchase went exactly as I expected it to. My wife and I bought these in order to upgrade our kids kindle fires which were beginning to not keep up with their demands. When faced with the decision to do another round of Kindle Fires versus these IPads, Apple’s ability to support their hardware past a couple of generations ended up being the icing on the cake.

The Apple 10.2 iPad 8th gen is fast. Sometimes it’s a little challenging because it is so easy to add the split screen view when you did not intend to. Otherwise, we are happy with the purchase.

This iPad is an exponential improvement over the 3d Gen iPad I had previously been using. I would not give any Apple products a perfect 5-star rating for the following reasons: 1) they stop doing upgrades to their iOS which means many apps will no longer update or function, making the device useless except as a reader; 2) they change the physical dimensions of the device making any holders or covers from previous models useless; 3) unlike an Android device, the iPad will not easily download to your PC or other devices without using iTunes. We originally purchased the iPad to use Facetime with our family overseas, and continue to use it for that purpose. Even Facetime would no longer function properly with the 3d Gen iPad. If you are a devoted Apple product user, then this iPad will do what it is advertised to do.
