The Apple 10.2″ iPad features the Retina display with a 2160 x 1620 resolution for crisp details and vivid colors, making it an ideal companion for watching movies, creating content, and much more. The previous A10 Fusion chip is replaced with the A12 Bionic chip, which is more powerful and supports Neural Engine machine learning. Moreover, its Smart Connector offers Smart Keyboard support for comfortable typing, while its display is compatible with the 1st gen Apple Pencil, so users can write and draw. With front and back cameras, the iPad can take photos, capture video, scan documents, make FaceTime calls, and provide AR capabilities. Connectivity-wise, it’s equipped with Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 4.2, a Lightning connector, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The iPad Air also supports LTE Mobile Broadband, allowing you to connect from anywhere you get a signal from the carrier of your choice (data plans sold separately). Its li-polymer battery is rated for up to 10 hours of use to keep you going throughout the day.

At this point, if you dont know what an Ipad is, I guess you need to check to ensure you haven’t traveled from a time in the past when Ipads were not in existence. Otherwise, this purchase went exactly as I expected it to. My wife and I bought these in order to upgrade our kids kindle fires which were beginning to not keep up with their demands. When faced with the decision to do another round of Kindle Fires versus these IPads, Apple’s ability to support their hardware past a couple of generations ended up being the icing on the cake.

Built in Apps are excellent. Fast and storage is fine… Great with Apple Pencil and Microsoft Mouse with Belkin Mousepad. Charging is solid and battery life is as good as can be expected. Graphics are very pleasing. Dual speakers are nice and Bluetooth is reliable.

This iPad replaces a 2012 3rd generation that I thought was great and still works perfectly, but can’t be updated and is slow. The picture on this iPad is astounding, better than the Retina display on my iMac. Is is ultra fast, up to date and syncs perfectly with the iPhone and iMac. Very easy to download everything I wanted from the iMac. I couldn’t be happier. My first Apple was 1983 and I’m still a happy and satisfied customer.
