The Apple 10.2″ iPad features the Retina display with a 2160 x 1620 resolution for crisp details and vivid colors, making it an ideal companion for watching movies, creating content, and much more. The previous A10 Fusion chip is replaced with the A12 Bionic chip, which is more powerful and supports Neural Engine machine learning. Moreover, its Smart Connector offers Smart Keyboard support for comfortable typing, while its display is compatible with the 1st gen Apple Pencil, so users can write and draw. With front and back cameras, the iPad can take photos, capture video, scan documents, make FaceTime calls, and provide AR capabilities. Connectivity-wise, it’s equipped with Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 4.2, a Lightning connector, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The iPad Air also supports LTE Mobile Broadband, allowing you to connect from anywhere you get a signal from the carrier of your choice (data plans sold separately). Its li-polymer battery is rated for up to 10 hours of use to keep you going throughout the day.

Apple is always user friendly – from built in Apps for home office to Garageband to accepting Microsoft products. I deleted many things to free up storage. I bought Lightning to SD Card Camera andLightning to USB 3.0 Camera Adapter to use my Medeli digital Piano with Garageband. This also works with my Ion Audio Bluetooth Speakers – and partially with Zagg Keyboard Cover for IPad 7th and 8th Gen – only the Zagg Shift key features don’t work with this. The quality of the images and video is great. Boots up very fast on start up. Super easy migration of apps when syncing from my iPhone (v11). If you are looking for something that is light, easy to use and are budget conscious, I would suggest getting this.

I also ordered Apple Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader, which allows me to put an SD card from point and shoot Canon, Kodak, and Panasonic cameras in so I can import photos easily onto my iPad. Apple Lightning to USB 3.0 Type-A Camera Adapter allows me to add small Thumbdrives / Flashdrives to add storage. In truth the Apple Lightning to USB 3.0 Type-A Camera Adapter is currently unnecessary for me, as I just deleted whatever I don’t need on the iPad. There is enough native storage for basic Apps, editing, and writing!!
