I am using this for my refrigerator instead of under counter so it was difficult to install. The fitting sent with it were for undersink. After attempting to install I wound up calling our Plummer. He has it installed but does not feel the fitting going to the tubing is going to last very long we suggest the company make better connections. I hope it last I have had it up 4 weeks and love the taste of my water and ice.

Install can and should be easy.. loved the you tube video. The water connections were easy. Having a garbage disposal there wasn’t. Reach to tightened the nut for the faucet was stretching myself to the limits. I unknowingly loosened a pipe while I was there… hilarity ensued.

We had the filter installed by a plumber. Even so, we experienced leaking after he left. We experimented with unscrewing and rescrewing the filter assembly, adjusting the hoses, etc. and eventually the leaking stopped. It is lightweight – not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. We will see in a year or two how durable it is. The water looks and tastes great!

Received and installed the under counter filter a few weeks back. Leaks began immediately. Called customer service and received excellent assistance. New unit arrive and installed and it too leaks from the same locations. Called customer service again and again had great helpful service. New parts sent out again. Fingers crossed the new parts work correctly. (Leaks occur where the filter units attach to the base unit). I am hoping I can recommend this product to others. As of yet, I cannot recommend the product. Customer service A+.

I had a plumber install the unit, so I can’t speak to the ease of installation; but the water tastes great, and the faucet is attractive and easy to use. A big improvement over my counter-top model, which took up a lot of space. I hope I’ll be able to change the filters myself, and not have to call a plumber.
