Had my unit installed by a plumber. Water flow continuously trickled down to nothing. I called the product help line for a fix. I was instructed to remove the first cartridge, remove the filter and put a quarter in the cylinder and replace the the filter. It restored the water flow but what about water quality?

In early November, I purchased the 3-Stage Water Filter system. It took me approximately 1-½ hours from start to finish. Upon completion, I removed the plastic insert to start the system and turned on the water supply. Amazingly, there were no water leaks. I flushed the system for 10 minutes, as required, and afterwards, had my first glass of filtered water. The water was delicious! I couldn’t have been more satisfied. I unequivocally recommend the Aquasana filter system I have purchased, to anyone wanting wanting an easy-to-install, inexpensive, under-counter system.

Beyond thrilled with this system. The first time you clean the filters you’ll see HOW MUCH DIRT they catch that’s visible. Then you wonder about the invisible stuff. Every time I see a Brita in someone’s fridge, I do a soliloquy about Aquasana. Get this, you will love it.

Installation was straightforward. The equipment was installed per instructions without modification despite the equipment location being very cramped and difficult to access. Output water flow exceeds specified minimum and water is clear and odorless.

I seen some reviews about leaks but in my opinion that would be caused by not installing correct, if you don’t have experience with plumbing hire a reputable plumber to install. Make sure you do not overtighten fittings. Got hooked up with no leaks and filter works great. Pretty good water flow for a 3 stage filter. Took the chlorine taste out and made water taste pretty good.

Everything went together smooth. Had a little trouble putting the 3 filters on. After I got the feel for how they go on it was easy. Unfortunately I ruined a couple of the small O-rings. Not to worry. Went to my local Home Depot and they set me up. 8pack of new O-rings for about $2. Works great! Water tastes awesome! Maybe a little more detail in the instructions about putting the filters on would be my only complaint.

This filter is great. We live in a small water district. They generally keep the water clean and free from contaminants, however there is still a mineral aftertase. This filter removed it all and the water actually tastes good now. My Wife is a picky drinker, so when she says iut tastes good, it does. Installation was straight forward and the instructions are well written and easy to understand. I had no installation issues at all.

We are very happy with the Aquasana 3-stage under counter system. Is is very similar to the system we replaced (we could no longer find replacement filters). The installation instructions were very easy to understand and was installed quickly. Our unfiltered water is very hard and has strong chemical taste. the unit produced wonderfully clear water with no odor or taste–the way good water tastes from a great, fast-running alpine stream!

The installation of this 3-stage water filtering system was easy enough and as explained in the documents. The house has a new Aquasana whole house water and softener system as well and I am happy with it, thus far. But at this time don’t see the benefits of this 3-stage. I don’t like the taste, there is a taste to this water, and the water taste better coming from the bathroom tap which is tied to the Aquasana whole house water and conditioner system than from the kitchen under the sink 3-stage. I’ve tested the the water quality with a TDS tester with the following results: the water coming into the house tested at 547ppm, the filtered whole house water is 213ppm at the tap, but the under the sink 3-stage tested at 381ppm. I admit that previous to the Aquasana installations, we had been drinking bottle water for the last two years which is that is truly tasteless water for sure and we are use to that but this 3-stage has not met my expectation as far has the taste goes.

Get a couple of tools ready, open the package and in about 20 minutes, presto you’re drinking clean, safe, delicious water. Over the years I’ve always installed filtration systems in our homes and even our 5th wheel RV. This system is hands down the easiest to install and there is no more taste in your water. Water should be crisp and refreshing not flavored. Stop your search. By this inexpensive, easy to install filtration system now. You’ll be glad you did. OH! The faucet keeps coming loose. It needs a bigger nut and.washer. The rate of flow is very low. I have GE system on another sink that never came loose and has a better rate of flow. I purchased the Aquasana because it looked better than the old GE.I am disappointed in the Aquasana.

Smoothly, my husband installed our water filter in the sink hole where the soap dispenser was located. Brushed nickel matched our faucet. The flow is a little slow but I don’t care since the taste of the water is supreme, even with the whole house water system we have. We do not have reverse osmosis filtering, that uses too much water. Good buy!
