This is the second water filter I’ve installed (used another brand previously), so my impressions are sort of based on that previous experience. Installation was fairly easy, the instructions were very thorough. Took me about an hour for the whole installation, and that included removing the old water filter.As far as the hardware is concerned, I wish the base plate for the faucet that is used to cover up the hole in the sink was just slightly wider, and that a hand-tightened fastener could be designed for securing the faucet underneath instead of a regular hex nut, to make it easier to tighten in tight spaces.The flow rate was a little slower than I expected, since this particular filter is advertised as “max flow.” When I first turned on the water after installation, the flow rate seemed quite fast, but fell off after the filters were flushed. Based on my experience with the installation, I expect changing the filters will be relatively easy, but we’ll see. Until then, I can’t give any feedback on how long the filters will last.

Leaks out of the box! Easy installation, hardest part was drilling 7/16 hole in stainless sink for the faucet, no biggie.Water on, flush for a while, and great tasting water. 20 minutes later, water running out of cabinet below sink.. Leaking from the connection where the upper filter housing fits into the manifold. Tried switching things around, still leaks.Called Aquqsana, they sent a new manifold. Installed, leaks worse than before.Called Aquasanta, they sent 2 of the top part of the filter housing which have the o-rings….which I had also asked for on the first call. If you have a bad connection, is it reasonable to replace one half of the joint?Anyway, after all this it is now working properly with no leaks. Fingers crossed. I still feel compelled to check for leaks whenever I pass by the sink.So – do I recommend this unit? Yes, because the water is really good, but be prepared for weeks of calling and waiting on parts.

So nice to have drinking water again. Our water was terrible had to buy bottled water. We had so much calcium in our water we couldn’t use the ice or drink the water. After installing the filters its like night and day, great drinking water and crystal clear ice. No more bottled water

I have an ice maker line that needed to be attached and Aquasana couldn’t/wouldn’t provide an extra piece of hose and extra fitting. So I had to search until I found the correct pieces and then order them on line. Very frustrating. You’d think Aquasana could have made this common part available. Also, even though this is the “Max Flow” version, it’s pretty slow – and getting slower after one month of use. Water tastes good.

I was replacing older model 2 stage Aquasana filter so faucet whole was already cut in sink. Older faucet hole was larger than what was required for the new faucet. I had to come up with some washers to make it work but otherwise, the install was a breeze. The only thing I could think of that would have been better would have been for Aquasana to provide some sort of adapter kit. Product works well. Water tastes great!

I did not buy my Aquasana 3-Stage Under Counter Water Filter new. I bought it from a friend who used it in her coffee shop to filter the water for her machines. She wanted a larger one so I bought this one. Before installing it I replaced the filters. If you do not believe a water filter is worth it you will once you replace the filters and see what it removes. I was very impressed with how easy this was to install and equally as impressed with how much better the water tastes. I’m a customer for life now. I’m so impressed with this product that I plan on installing a whole house unit next year.

Love this filter. The water in Texas is not meant for drinking. The water out of this filter is crystal clear. I use it for my coffee maker as well.
