Installation was easy, all the fittings needed are supplied. I was able to use my existing fixture so it matched the rest of our fixtures. I like not having a tank under the sink taking up a lot of space. The water tastes much better than our tap water, no taste or smell of chlorine. We are very happy with this items at this point. So far, I’m not impressed with the quality of the Aquasana 3-stage Under Counter Water Filter. I’ve had a GE two stage system that I thought provided better tasting ( no taste ) water. The Aquasana system removes color from tap water but total dissolved solids are still high (320 ppm) and still some taste.

Leaks out of the box! Easy installation, hardest part was drilling 7/16 hole in stainless sink for the faucet, no biggie.Water on, flush for a while, and great tasting water. 20 minutes later, water running out of cabinet below sink.. Leaking from the connection where the upper filter housing fits into the manifold. Tried switching things around, still leaks.Called Aquqsana, they sent a new manifold. Installed, leaks worse than before.Called Aquasanta, they sent 2 of the top part of the filter housing which have the o-rings….which I had also asked for on the first call. If you have a bad connection, is it reasonable to replace one half of the joint?Anyway, after all this it is now working properly with no leaks. Fingers crossed. I still feel compelled to check for leaks whenever I pass by the sink.So – do I recommend this unit? Yes, because the water is really good, but be prepared for weeks of calling and waiting on parts.

Install took about 45 min, significant change in water overall taste, 16oz glass fills in 32 seconds. The water at this location is very hard and we had tried several other water filters before this one but none of them made it more than 3 weeks without plugging the filters it has been 6 weeks and still producing good water. We have a whole house filter, water softener and then the Aquasauna 3 stage for drinking you can still taste a small amount of the softened water after the Aquasauna 3 stage filter.

I have an ice maker line that needed to be attached and Aquasana couldn’t/wouldn’t provide an extra piece of hose and extra fitting. So I had to search until I found the correct pieces and then order them on line. Very frustrating. You’d think Aquasana could have made this common part available. Also, even though this is the “Max Flow” version, it’s pretty slow – and getting slower after one month of use. Water tastes good.

The faucet keeps coming loose. It needs a bigger nut and.washer. The rate of flow is very low. I have GE system on another sink that never came loose and has a better rate of flow. I purchased the Aquasana because it looked better than the old GE.I am disappointed in the Aquasana.

Get a couple of tools ready, open the package and in about 20 minutes, presto you’re drinking clean, safe, delicious water. Over the years I’ve always installed filtration systems in our homes and even our 5th wheel RV. This system is hands down the easiest to install and there is no more taste in your water. I purchased a aquasana three stage water filter about six years ago. I also got new filters every six months. The system worked flawlessly for five and a half years , then it started to leak just a little. After a call to your service department , your people sent me some new heads for the filters. After installing the new heads, the system continued to drip. I suppose if you can get five and a half years out of your product you’ve done pretty good. With this in mind I purchased another three stage system. I am very happy with the purity of the water, just wish it would last longer.
