The Replacement Post-filter attaches to the Aquasana Whole House Filter system, after the filter tank. This post-filter is considered a polishing agent, removing any remaining sediment and organic particles from your water. This cartridge should be replaced every nine to twelve months.
- Filters leftover particulate after water filtration
- Tanks and filters can be changed quickly, without a plumber – no backflushing or electricity required
- Replacement post-filter cartridge matches 10 in. post-filter
- Replace every 9-12 months depending on water quality and sediment levels
- Use genuine Aquasana replacements only – untested replacements are not certified for performance capacity or contaminant removal

We love, love LOVE our whole house Aquasana filter. It is, without a doubt the best upgrade we have done for ourselves. Clean water is SO important. We take gallons of it with us on road trips. Friends stop by and ask for a glass or a bottle to take home. It is delicious! That said, yes, the filters must be great. And they are easy to install.

I have the Aquasana Whole House Filter for three years and I could not be more pleased. The water tastes great and is always clean never cloudy or weird. It seems to be clean of harmful chemicals but I have not tested it. It was easy to install and maintain. Highly recommended! I also used their table top filter in the past and that was excellent also. I purchased one for my younger son and he loves it. Also I purchased a Whole House Filter for my older son and his family and they also love it.

This filter was for a whole house system that is awesome! Without it, my water tastes the way dirt smells. With this filter, I can drink the water straight from the tap.

Love our whole house water filter!! No more funky smell or taste from the water. Boil water advice does not apply when you have one of these systems!!

We had installed a unit without water softening. Our purpose was to remove organics that caused scum to form when we brewed tea and coffee. It does this well. However, after a few months a leak developed on the housing of the post filter. Customer was service was very helpful and provided 2 replacement O-rings at no charge. I had to ask for lubricant instructions (food grade silicon required) which should have been provided without asking. After replacement of the O-ring the leak stopped.

It seems to be longer than the original one … however it is still fit inside the chamber.

We have a well with heavy iron and sulphur content. Before we had a sulphur oder and mineral deposits and iron stains. Now our water is clean and spotless with no oder and tastes good. I thought I would need to add a water softener but now it’s not necessary.

Direction are poor, you should state which style of PEX fittings come with pro kit, we use only PEX A style in NW. If I knew I would not need the kit. Also the prefilter leaks and sent email a week ago and have heard nothing, you also need a drain on the pre filter

Water filters are fine, but the threaded plastic connectors leak a lot of water.

I use this filter as a part of my whole house system, I like the overall design but only thing have to be aware of if keeping too long in housing where can develop mold and other bacteria if left untouched.

Using the bypass makes the job as easy as 123. 1 – Put system in bypass. 2 – Remove filter housing, and install new filter. 3 – Tighten filter housing and turn bypass off. Less than ten minutes including washing the filter housing. Nice system! Thank you!

I have been a happy owner of Aquasana Whole House Water Filters for at least 7 years. Around 18 month ago I upgraded to the system capable of cleaning the water for 5 years. After that I have been a little less happy.I now have to replace the post.filter every 3 monthdue to so much black residue (probably active coal) in the post-filter. They are not cheap and it honestly does take away some of my enthusiasm about this product.
