The THD-PWFS-R-D is a Replacement cartridge filter for the Aquasana Powered Water Filtration System. Traditional pitchers use gravity to slowly trickle water over filter granules. Aquasana’s powered filtration uses pressure to quickly force unfiltered water through our Claryum Smart Filter. The result – more contaminants reduced plus healthy minerals retained for purely delicious filtered water in just seconds. Each time you replace the filters, you can give yourself credit for not using 2,560 16 oz. plastic bottles.

I’ve been relying on my Aquasana filter to provide clear and delicious water for 3 years now. I recently moved to a house with a well and this filter takes out all the tannins and iron, but leaves in the minerals. I know, because I had the water tested. Because of this, the filters need replacing every 3 months, but it’s worth it and is still cheaper in the long run than buying spring water. I highly recommend this filter.

We live in an area with highly contaminated water and previously used a distiller. Our Aquasana actually did one better. It removed everything the distiller did and left only a very small amount of healthy minerals. Our pets (parrots), drink what we drink because we care about them. Our Powered Water Filtration System is fast and convenient. Couldn’t imagine giving them or us anything less!
