The THD-PWFS-R-D is a Replacement cartridge filter for the Aquasana Powered Water Filtration System. Traditional pitchers use gravity to slowly trickle water over filter granules. Aquasana’s powered filtration uses pressure to quickly force unfiltered water through our Claryum Smart Filter. The result – more contaminants reduced plus healthy minerals retained for purely delicious filtered water in just seconds. Each time you replace the filters, you can give yourself credit for not using 2,560 16 oz. plastic bottles.

Last year I installed a new Aquasana shower head and filter and immediately noticed a difference in my hair and skin. We have really hard water and I have colored hair, my color would fade (and when it was blonde it got a green tint!) really quickly, I was having it redone every 3 weeks. Now my hair is healthier and my color lasts. I also have eczema and was having serious issues with it before, and it’s definitely noticeably better since switching to the Aquasana shower head. It worked so well that I’m on my second replacement filter, I love it!10/10, totally recommend!

Water filtration system works well, except the unit leaks in the latter stages of the life of the filter, so it is advisable to place the unit on a tray to avoid water leakage on the kitchen counter. The filter did not last as long as I expected, but that may be due to the quality of the water.
