The THD-RO3-RO Reverse Osmosis Membrane is a replacement for the THD-RO3.56 OptimH2O Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System. Aquasana OptimH2O delivers the best drinking water available for optimal hydration. Removes the most contaminants from your water while maintaining the benefits of healthy minerals that other reverse osmosis systems simply remove. Aquasana’s filter removes over 95% of fluoride for optimally healthy, clean water. I have had this water filter system for one year now. I love how this water taste. I know I am getting a better quality of water through this system. Before my water system, the water from my tap, or filtered refrigerator water would leave a pink residue build up in my dogs water bowl. Since we installed the water filter system, that has never happened. That right there tells me something about the difference.

Installed in 2017, installation was fairly easy, instructions weren’t clear/detailed enough in some areas. Had a leak coming from the faucet connection and a replacement was promptly sent. Filter replacements are quick and easy, again instructions weren’t quite clear enough but eventually figured it out. The water taste great, have had visitors say that it was the best water they had tasted. Great peace of mind knowing I no longer have to drink fluoride tainted water not to mention all those contaminants.

This brought the already-high pH 10.5 water up to pH 11.5 – which was tested on a calibrated pH meter. Rather too high for drinking water. Additionally, it was not until I got the system that I learned high pH water requires more-frequent replacement of the reverse osmosis membrane (also every 6 months). Our water has such high pH due to “lime softening” at the municipal water treatment plant.
