Wanted a dehydrator with the fan in the back, found this one at a reasonable price. Purchased it for a father’s day gift and I have had it running almost every day since it arrived, and we love it. We simply load it, set the temperature and turn it on. It does not have a timer, but that is not an issue for us. Would definitely purchase again.

The Aroma 6-tray food dehydrator has meet all my expectation’s that I had for the product when I ordered it . I like all the feature’s that it come’s with for the price . The overall size which fit’s on a kitchen counter top it come’s with 6 tray’s and 6 plastic sheet’s one for each tray. This product come’s with a standard power switch and thermostat that has an adjustable range of between 95*f to 155*f .This product is designed with a heat unit and fan in the rear that work’s with a air vent on top to provide even air flow when dehydrating food .I have had the product for two week’s and my first use for it was dehydrating sweet potato chip’s . I fill the 6 tray’s with sweet potato chip’s and let it run over night . There are two other thing’s I like about this product it has a plastic door which make’s a firm seal when it’s closed. I also liked that it had a 5 year warranty and a good review which help me when selecting a dehydrator to purchase . Thank’s to Home Depot’s online site this product was easy to order for the best price and I received it a day sooner than I expected .

I didn’t get this to use as a food dehydrator. I got it to use as an incubator for making tempeh and to use to proof bread. For both uses, this is an excellent choice after making allowances for the air flow. It’s the type of temperature controller it has that makes this a good choice. Digital controllers in dehydrators in this price range all seem to have pre-set temps starting around 95 degrees F, while this unit has a mechanical controller which allows me to set a lower temperature. There is a bit of play in the dial and it takes some doing to get the desired temperature (for my purposes 85-90 degrees), but once there, I’ve had very good end results. I’m happy with this dehydrator. I’m even thinking of trying it as a food dehydrator.

Excellent dehydrator, have used it about 8 times so far with no problems, running for 8-12 hours at a time, sometimes for 24 hours straight. A bit slower than vertical kind, but MUCH more evenly and so much easier than those round stacking trays. Can’t believe I didn’t get this kind sooner. Build quality is not as tough as an Excalibur but works just as well and less than half the price.

The Aroma Professional 6-Tray Food Dehydrator was set up yesterday to dehydrate some apples and bananas. After reading the simple instructions the unit was wiped down and the trays washed/dried as instructed. The next step was to turn it on for 30 minutes and afterwards wipe the inside and wash the trays again. The apples and bananas were prepared as instructed and dehydrated per the instructions. The dehydrator did and very good job and I was really pleased with the dehydrator fruit. Looking for forward to dehydrating other types of fruit and food.

This dehydrator is awesome. We mad some chicken jerky last night and it’s half gone already. The square design is the way to go. We had a round one before and you can fit a lot more in the square design. This is also super quiet and you won’t realize it’s on, which is much nicer than our old dehydrator. What a great buy, we will get a lot of use out of it I’m sure.

This 6 tray dehydrator with mesh layers is super! You could dehydrate nearly anything in it. Seriously, it is that big and roomy! I didn’t expect it to be that large but it will allow me plenty of space tp make my trail mixes, peaches, pears, apples and venison jerky treats. I like the fact that the mesh drying sheets are included, that saves finding the correct sizes and having to order them separately. I can’t wait for my pears to be ready for picking so that I can begin the process. I am definitely satisfied.
