I purchased this item because I needed an electric skillet and I didn’t want one with teflon coating. This one is stainless steel. The cooking surface of the pan is obviously hotter above the heating coil. Still, it cooks well and is easy to clean.

Love this skillet. Easy clean up; durable and stays good looking (ss). Plenty of “room” for a meal for 4. I have had several over the past 7 years . I use mine every day for at least one meal and I would strongly recommend the 2yr service plan (depending on how often you plan on using your skillet of course) . I find with my usage that the electrical components go bad after 12-18mos.
