The controller is a bit hard to figure out as to temperature, but it’s been OK so far. I’m learning…I particularly like the 90 degree angle on the controller and the shape (round) and size (fits my counter top and storage space.) I haven’t used it a lot yet, but I think it’s going to be good. It replaces a Rival that I had for many years, but the electrical connection wore out and appeared dangerous. This was the one electric skillet that I could find that was like the old Rival – shape and size. I’ve had it only a couple of weeks and so far it has met my expectations.

I liked that it was stainless steel. Didn’t like that the handle got so hot. Very low, close to counter. No record for low heat like 100 or 150 I’d think before l’d buy this again

I love the Aroma 132 sq. in. Stainless steel skillet. It cooks evenly and is the perfect size for a skillet casserole for 3-4 people. So easy to make pancakes as well. It is handy and looks great to use as a warming/serving dish.Love shopping at Home Depot!

I use the Aroma at least 4 times a week. I purchased it because it is NOT one of the non-stick styles. Those have worn out in 6 months and also have a circular heating coil which when on high you can clearly see and doesn’t distribute heat across the entire surface. This surface is of excellent quality and the entire surface heats up. The handles surprisingly don’t get hot. The only reason I’m giving 4 not 5 stars is that the pan runs hot, temperature control isn’t accurate. But you can compensate through experience.

The product is exactly what I want for frying fish, sausage, and other meats in lieu of using a skillet on stove. The heat isuniform and easy to use with little mess to clean up. I have used it several time and find that i can accomplish preparation for good meal.

Love it! I looked at all stainless steel skillets. All others were very expensive and did not seem to offer any more than the aroma. The aroma was the only one to state 18/10 stainless. That was enough for me. Cooks evenly and well. Cleans up easily.

It doesn’t clean without scratching. Old stainless you could use a brillo pad. I still like having an electric frypan.

five stars all the way. it is so different from those cheap, flimsy aluminum pans, and takes some time learning how best to use it, and it is big. for one thing, being steel, it heats evenly, but a bit slower than aluminum and one has to be patient not to turn the heat too high at first. being non-stick, i use more oil (olive oil ‘cuz it’s the most healthy) and watch more closely than with non-stick. after using, i’ve discovered the best way to clean it is put in a damp sponge and then the cover and wait until it is room temp, and it will clean up to a mirror finish. this most excellent cookware will reward the patient, careful cook. oh, and one more thing, it looks great. probably enhance your reputation as a good cook. This is the first standard size stainless steel electric frypan I have been able to find for several years — all others have non-stick coating, which I do not prefer to use. So this is exactly what I was looking for. I have used it several times. Using Teflon spatulasdo not work well,, so I have reverted back to the “good old’ aluminum turners that are safe to use and do not scratch. When washing the pan, using a bit of BarKeepers Friend cleanser on a sponge maintains its original shine. I am delighted with this product.
