Our kitchen is being remodeled. I bought this to cook my lunch and evening meal in the mean time. I love it. I plan to continue using it once the kitchen is finished. I cook one cup of dry rice and steamed veggies on top in the steam basket bought separately. There is always a small amount of rice stuck to the bottom, which I soak and if comes out easily. I rinse the rice about 3-4 times before cooking. I have yet to cook the rice by itself, so I don’t know if it will boil over. I tried cooking rice noodle, which worked, but I had to open the lid somewhat to keep it from boiling over. They cooked fine.

Good product, worth the price.

It is a good size for 3 to 4 people. Steel pot was my priority. It is hard to find steel pot in rice cookers. I enjoy making rice in my new cooker.

It’s nice but wish if it is a little bigger

Bought recently. Well, I tried once, works perfectly well. Only issue that it is good for 2 cups of uncooked rice. I love this product, looks really good, treat to your eyes.

Works great so far. Love the steel.

It’s too small for 3 cups of rice; even cooking just a bit more than 2 cups results in it spitting boiling water out of the little hole in the lid. But it’s terrific for 2 cups or less.

Can’t turn down so constant splatter.

Cooks rice beautifully! A thin layer of rice gets stuck to the bottom of the pot, but it’s easy to clean if you soak it for a couple minutes. It’s definitely worth the little bit of extra work to clean because the pot is safer to use than non-stick. We put a little bit of olive oil in with the rice to prevent it from sputtering. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve had 2 other rice cookers over the years, both having a “Teflon” type type coating inside the pot. This is superior and I highly recommend it over any Teflon based rice cooker. No question, hands down, go with the Stainless Steel pot. This one is simple to use if you’re goal is to serve 1-2 people a hardy serving. If you’re serving 4 people I would recommend a larger cooker.

Cocker is too small. It says 6 cups in its description but it is not.

glad to have a stainless steel rice cooker, but if the only thing making this $20 more expensive than an aluminum rice cooker of the same size, then I think it’s too expensive.

I love this small 3 cups of ( uncooked) rice cooker, because of the stainless bowl that also can remove it out of the rice cooker for cleaning, ( I’ve looked for this type of rice cooker for while ) this is what I like about this rice cooker, and it is very simple easy to use it, just press one button then, it will doing it cooking until is done, follow the instruction for the rice and water, the Rice come out so flurry each single time since I use it for almost 2 weeks now, the only thing to need unplugged the electric cord out of the outlet, when you do not need to keep it warm no more, this rice cooker is perfectly for a single person or a small family to have it at home; I do not know about the ” energy efficiency” though, so I will not put this on rating chart for star, so I leave it out.

I purchased this appliance very recently. It is a well built quality product. It performs well. The only drawback is that the rice sticks to the bottom of the pan and it takes some soaking and scrubbing before clean up.

finally our rice is perfect every time. So easy and cleans up very nicely. Don’t leave warmer on or rice will stick to pan and dry out. Just turn off shortly after finished and voila, perfect rice. And it’s stainless and small; very difficult to find. Thanks Aroma!
