The deep cooking pot with tempered glass lid is perfect for simmering or slow cooking soups, stews, chili, sukiyaki and more. For an even healthier cooking option, steam meat and vegetables on the raised grill surface. The removable temperature control probe sets up to 450°, heating quickly and evenly thanks to the cast aluminum cooking pot. And when the cooking is done, the Non-stick cooking pot, Cool touch housing and tempered glass lid all clean easily in the dishwasher.

It could be used for grill and hot pot. I tried for both cooking methods and is pretty happy with it. It heats very fast and you have the control of the temperature. It is easy to wash since it is dish washer safe.
