The deep cooking pot with tempered glass lid is perfect for simmering or slow cooking soups, stews, chili, sukiyaki and more. For an even healthier cooking option, steam meat and vegetables on the raised grill surface. The removable temperature control probe sets up to 450°, heating quickly and evenly thanks to the cast aluminum cooking pot. And when the cooking is done, the Non-stick cooking pot, Cool touch housing and tempered glass lid all clean easily in the dishwasher.

This has got to be my favorite kitchen small appliance yet! We bought it for our vacations and trips to visit the kids and grandkids out of state. I have celiac disease and have to be gluten free and it’s hard to eat out. I made several items to test it and they all turned out perfect! I made roasted chicken leg quarters with gf noodles, a meatloaf with carrots and potatoes, hamburgers, & pork chops. Clean up is a breeze – a washcloth with a little Dawn and it cleans right up. And the fact that it is dishwasher safe is a giant plus although this won’t be an option when we travel. I highly recommend this!!

Bought this for hotpot. Great buy, it works really well. The power cord comes off and you can throw all the rest of it directly into the dishwasher. Love that it can grill, steam, and cook–I prefer stuff that can serve multiple purposes.

Bought this so I could do hot pot and shabu at home. Overall the unit is great. It heats up really fast, is convenient, and works. One thing though is that from warm/off to on when the light is on is pretty drastic as far as how hot it gets. Meaning- you can’t do a light simmer. Its basically a hard fast boil or no heat at all. Not the biggest deal but it’s something to consider as I like to keep my hot pot / shabu on a light simmer as to not evaporate too much broth too quickly.
