I use the Arrow T59 stapler to install low-voltage cabling in my home. Ceiling line is vaulted & 24′ at its higher lines. Using the T59 stapler to fasten neatly low volt cables on open joists is easy. I use a carabiner in order to attach the T59 to the hammer loop on my carpenter’s apron. This way I have two hands to arrange the low-volt cable for fastening.I have been using Arrow T-series staplers for 30+ years. I am receiving a plastic storage caddy as an incentive to write this review. Any bias is negligible in my opinion.

I got this to save time putting CAT6 in the attic. Works great, the wire guide is awesome. Some reviews I read said it was hard to pull but I didn’t have any trouble doing it with one hand (I’m a middle age male) … it takes as much effort as you’d expect from a staple gun. I got the 8mm staples since I was running CAT6 and while the 6mm ones said they would work on CAT5, I wasn’t sure if it would be too tight with the twisted pair separator that CAT6 requires. Turns out, there is more than enough room for a single CAT6 wire in the 8mm staples and I could have gone with something a little smaller and perhaps gotten a snugger fit but the 8mm works for me and there is no worry about pinching the wire; it can move freely.Overall I’d say this stapler seems a little over priced but for the time it saved, it was definitely worth it in the end.

The T59 is a quality made cable stapler. Easy to use, easy to load, fits in the hand but. The staples have much to be desired. As I stapled Cat 5e in place, most staples would bend and therefore not hold the cable having to re-staple. So make sure you have plenty of staples ready to reload.

This stapler is well made, with some heft to it. I would prefer a shorter travel for the trigger handle, but the spring mechanism is powerful which contributes to that. It drives staples in with no problem. Very nice product.
