I could not find a way of turning off the traffic categorization which means at some point they are tracking what sites you go to and who knows what that data is being used for. should have the option to turn it off.

The AP-22 is a newer version of the AP15. Has good features and functionality. Highly recommend.

My clients have been complaining about issues with Unifi for a while now, and their equipment always needs to be updated or rebooted. Seems like it’s always something. I tried Aruba Instant On. It was easy to setup, it’s low maintenance and updates it self on a schedule I set. Of course there are cons to the system. 25 AP limit, limited functionality, but for most clients, that’s all they need. I’m just happy with the decreased workload.

I installed 4 of these devices in our community clubhouse. One is connected to our Comcast business router via ethernet cable (as the base), the others synch wirelessly with the base as a mesh network. The devices provide for good WI-FI reception across the entire clubhouse. Their phone app makes it very easy to define the network and setup the devices, and I am not a pro by any means. The hardest part was finding a good spot for the devices to cover all the rooms we have in the building. The phone app tells you if have good/fair/poor signal with an access point and the base, helping you to locate it. I went with the Aruba APs versus others I read about as they have the best features for the price. So far I am very happy with the purchase.

I’m a novice and have been using an ASUS wireless routers for years. Bought this AP22 and a 1930 switch about a year ago from B&H. Made a pfsense box out of an old pc to do the router and firewall The whole setup has been running well without issues. Extremely stable. No more resetting the router or Wi-Fi. Very happy with the system

My house has always been a bit tricky Wi-Fi-wise. This AP fixed that. I have 2 of them. One is running POE at the switch and the other is connected (mesh’d?) to the first one. Bam! All dead spots filled. The App showed that one of my TVs was getting a ‘poor’ signal so I checked with my daughter and she said that she had no buffering or dropouts. Apparently the AP22 with a poor signal is better than any other solution I’ve tried. Also Wi-Fi 6 is great. It’s not mind-blowing fast but it’s so fast that you don’t even think about it… I guest that is mind-blowing. I do a lot of online gaming. This fixed all of my NAT issues for the first time ever. It no longer seems like I’m the only person playin CoD. Guest network control is pretty awesome. I generally keep it turned off, but if people come over I use app, turn it on, and everyone can log on easily. It’s pretty cool. If I had any complaint it would be that POE seems to be SLOW to start, it takes a long time to boot the AP, but I don’t know if that is the AP or POE in general.

Great easy product. I would recommend creating an account online via the Aruba Instant On Portal first. Install the first AP with POE and uses the serial number to associate it with your Aruba account in the portal. For each subsequent device on the same network, you can just adopt them without needing to do the serial number part. Couldn’t be happier, makes my life easy!

I been battling with Aruba Instant On since I purchased a complete network system from them on 7/5/2021. It’s 10/3/2021 and we still have issue with Aruba Instant On and iOS product, it will not connect to WIFI. I called Aruba, submitted a ticket, spoke with chat and still no resolution. I wish I could’ve listen to myself and return this product when I was within my 30 day window. Save yourself the headache and just purchase Unifi. I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy, just because it’ll be torture and I’ll be breaking a few rules in the Geneva Convention.
