Take your online gaming performance to the next level with the ROG GT-AX11000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Gaming Router from ASUS. Boasting a total aggregate data throughput of up to 11,000 Mb/s and eight external antennas, this tri-band router supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for data speeds up to 2.53 times faster than the Wi-Fi 5 standard.
The ROG GT-AX11000 comes equipped with a 2.5 Gb/s WAN/LAN Ethernet port, as well as a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port, four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, and two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 ports for sharing files or devices across the network.
Compatible with ASUS AiMesh Wi-Fi routers, the ROG GT-AX11000 supports 4 x 4 multi-user MIMO, which allows the router to transfer data with multiple devices simultaneously. The router also supports a series of ASUS technologies that help to ensure gaming data packets are prioritized on the network.

This router is the foundation of my network. I saw my speeds increase as I connected it as the main router for my AiMesh which connects to my two other ASUS routers consisting of the GT-AC5300 and the RT-AC5300. The entire AiMesh system works great around my home/office.

Absolutely amazing. I was using an RT-68U as my primary router in my mesh network. With increased needs for security, I wanted to be able to run all the security available in Asus Firmware without sacrificing hardware acceleration. The AX11000 does everything and more. Mesh network setup can be a pain when using other routers to be nodes, but once it is setup; it is very stable.

The router is overkill for most people but you get your moneys’ worth. This isn’t your grandfather’s router. You’ll love this router to death. Just make sure you purchase a high end modem to go with the router.

Didn’t facilitate my current router’s performance and only made my internet speeds a chaotic mess. I was hoping my ping would go down but this product didn’t even lower it from the average 50 ms I get. The app said my ping was 15 ms average when activating game boost but that was never the case. I looked up if it was compatible with Xbox One software and the internet said yes. Apparently, the internet lied because this device didn’t do nothing for my speeds since I got it and only made my life a hassle for a few weeks.

I bought it to replace the previous Netgear AC, and it worked great with my iPhone 11 Series in AX mode. Everything was connecting through this monster, and it worked very well! BTW, my wife said it was ugly:(

Easy to set up, great results speeds are above what I expected. Upgraded from a RT 3200, love the new features. Laptops and TVs used at other end of house receive clear and strong wireless signal;.

This is the second high end ASUS router I have purchased. Replacing the one I bought 5 years ago. Not the cheapest but in my experience the best consumer router. As a networking professional I have worked with many enterprise and consumer routers and firewalls. This router give me many of the functions I only find on enterprise equipment and is easy enough to use that it does not take a professional to configure. I currently have it as the master of my AIMesh network. I like the WIFI 6 support that I replaced my two other ASUS WIFI 5 nodes with a single midrange ASUS WIFI 6 router. I have 75+ nodes on my home network with most being wireless and the two WIFI 6 routers preform much better than the three I had before.

I had high hopes for this router to be the backbone of my mesh network including the AX92U’s as nodes. BUT, during initial setup, the app froze, then router started to emit a strange electrical smell. The lights in front and the aura right flashed on and off slowing in repetition until completely off. Never had this happen in 20yrs of IT(with router). I know it’s capabilities but can’t speak of real world use because it died within 15 minutes of being plugged in. Bummed.

This is the best router I have ever used with one major flaw. It will not allow software downloads. So, I cannot download Windows 10 software updates or software updates for other things like Stream or other programs. I have spent hours reviewing every setting and searching for a solution. The only solution I found is to open up a VPN on my system to get around the issue. This is the best router every except for that one major flaw.

I’ve had it about a week now, and its level of performance is unbelievable. Incredibly fast and rock solid so far. I recently upgraded my Comcast internet to 600 down, and am using the router with 15-20 devices in WFH and school at home environment, with up to 6 computers (Mac and Windows) and numerous other wireless devices in the mix, several of which are ax or wifi6. I consistently get 600 down with speedtest on the wireless devices that are capable of doing so. The options it has to fine tune your setup and customize are staggering. I’ve never had an Asus router, only Netgear to date, and I’m super impressed so far. Asus seems to do a very good job of updating it too, such as implementing WPA-3, which it didn’t initially come with. My only possible criticisms are 1. it’s huge! It’s about the size of a Mac mini, but taller and with 8 giant antennas, and 2. only 4 LAN ports. It works for me, but it would be nice to have more.

Unit is easy to setup with a great interface but would be nice to have some recommended configuration for several common usage models. One issue that I have which continues to be a challenge is that it drops clients randomly. It appears this is a known challenge but have not seen an update to address.

The router is great! However, I find that I often have issues with the owner’s manual not really getting into specifics on settings that are available for the router and what they affect

My wife calls it the octopus, but she is really impressed with the speeds that are seen during a speed test. The graphic’s look amazing and gaming is effortless. Plus, it was on sale how do you argue about that.

Fast! Huge difference on my Wifi from my old net gear r6700v3 router. Had 243.4 download mbps & 271.8 UL mbps with my nighthawk. I got 709.3 DL & 925.6 UL with my new ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 router & cat 6a cable. I also get 6e Wifi on my phone now, No regrets on this purchase.
