   Works well but do not view as AI, for it is more like automated AP. There are many great features with this routers that makes it possible to do about anything except with Apple computers.

   Great Router! Lots of options in the UI for client controls and security etc. Easy to use and navigate. However, it only gets 4 stars because it doesn’t handle buffer bloat well. Try gaming on this router while Netflix or Hulu or Amazon Prime or any other streaming service is running on another device. It’s unusable. This could be fixed with a firmware update.

   With the number of devices I have installed in my home (Alexa Echo’s, Smart Switches, plugs light bulbs, Smart TV’s, and Rings Security system – Door/window sensors, motion detectors, 8 cameras inside and out, Smoke/CO2 detectors) I needed a more robust system which could handle the traffic and be able to integrate with my existing Asus routers (Have 2 – RT-AC88U’s, 1 RT-AX88U and 1 GT-AC5300). I performed a completed factory reset on all of my routers and installed my new GT-AX11000. The installation took less than 30 minutes to do. Once I had this router setup, I started the AIMESH setup by adding my existing routers one at a time. For both the GT-AC5300 and RT-AX88U, they installed into the AIMESH fairly quickly. It took the RT-AC88U’s a while longer, understandably since these are older models, yet they joined the network and worked perfectly. There was a comment in one of the reviews which indicated “This router does not work well if you have Spectrum 1GB service”. I have to say this comment is false, I have Spectrum 1GB Service and my Speed tests directly from the GT-AX11000 averages downloads 978MBPS and my upload average 57.2MBPS. These averages were taken after I ran OOkla’s SPEEDTEST POWERED directly from the router 6 times. I am very impressed with the results. Visually, this router looks like an upside down spider, however it looked great sitting in my living room entertainment center (See Picture). My wife called it abstract and worked well with her decore. I am very please with the device considering it does support a large home with many network devices. Granted this device is not cheap, yet what it can do and how many devices it can handle was well worth the cost.

   I never have any problems with this router. It has been a champ since I bought it last year. Expensive but worth every penny! Dedicated gaming port is amazing!

   This product is not for regular users it is for gamer and geeks who high quality of coverage of WIFI and LAN in the same time. It has friendly dashboard which is going to give you the latest of the solutions and protection for your network and privacy. The best part you can download the app in your smart phone and you can control everything while you are in the same network in about few clicks. It has ability to control who have access to this network and for gest you can decide how long time you need to allow them. In the same time it is giving you the power for parenting and control when and what your child see and when he can have internet and for how long. I can’t stop talking about the amazing features of that product and it worth every single dollar I spent on it.

   Reading reviews about it’s predecessor I was a little nervous but I am happy I bought it. My only con is the spam logs in the system log logger, how they are not easy to understand, and you can’t turn logging off.

    Very happy with this router, fantastic bandwidth and range. I set it with the mesh system using 2 RT-AX92U satellites (37 devices) …no problem 🙂

    I give it five stars because Asus is awesome, just one litle problem, wifi 6 had to be desables as only a couple of devices in my home has it, and with it activated there where some compatibility problems.

    Replaced a busted nighthawk mesh router and the experience has been night and day difference. I get nearly the same coverage with 2 devices and my wifi devices aren’t always getting massive packet losses like they did with my old setup…. 10/10 would recommend.
