Take your online gaming performance to the next level with the ROG GT-AX11000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Gaming Router from ASUS. Boasting a total aggregate data throughput of up to 11,000 Mb/s and eight external antennas, this tri-band router supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for data speeds up to 2.53 times faster than the Wi-Fi 5 standard.
The ROG GT-AX11000 comes equipped with a 2.5 Gb/s WAN/LAN Ethernet port, as well as a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port, four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, and two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 ports for sharing files or devices across the network.
Compatible with ASUS AiMesh Wi-Fi routers, the ROG GT-AX11000 supports 4 x 4 multi-user MIMO, which allows the router to transfer data with multiple devices simultaneously. The router also supports a series of ASUS technologies that help to ensure gaming data packets are prioritized on the network.

Excellent choice for wifi router. No problems with the unit. worked right out of the box, it has supported 10 devices with no lag. Very impressed

Not a network expert by any means, but it was easy to set up with the app and manual to walk through the process. The app is very useful for re-naming devices on the network and monitoring usage. Having multiple networks is nice for segregating device types. Wifi range is pretty good, but not a miracle, drops to one bar at a distance of 40 ft through about 6 walls.

I would recommendthis Router is a BEAST for any task.

It is cumbersome to set up and manage. NOT user friendly.

If you’re familiar with the Asus software this router is easy to use. It is very powerful and very stable! Very happy with my purchase.

Best router I’ve ever owned, great features for gamers and large networks! I had tried netgear routers before this, and bit the bullet and bought the nicest netgear equivalent to the asus ax11000. It had horrible speeds. In fact the one Comcast rents was giving me close to a gig on all devices. Well that was before I had 10 cameras and 20 or so different IoTs devices. Luckily I am getting close to that on the game mode of the ax11000 and network is still functioning great even though using boost game mode which prioritizes which device you select. This did not slow down the rest of my network which I was expecting. So considering leaving in boost game mode for the two most used devices. Thank you asus for always having the best when it comes to the high end computer hardware!

This router is a complete piece of garbage. Do not buy it. Technical support ignored my requests multiple times despite me sending in multiple logs show the issues I had. Stay away from this.

So powerful. Definitely an upgrade from the previous AC router I had

The Asus router interface is wonderful. I’ve had Asus routers in the past. My latest router was old and needed replaced but the Asus routers were not on the shelf so I picked up a competitors version. After 3 days, I took back the competitors version – the interface really was bad. It was like a 20 year old style and was not intuitive. I finally found the Asus version that I wanted and now I’m happy.

I’ve tried several mesh wifi networks in my home with varying degrees of success in recent years, but when it came time to upgrade to wifi 6 I decided to bite the bullet and go big on a single, powerful router. The GT-AX11000 is a beast. First, it solved my specific issues of mesh drop outs. I have it in my basement and have a stronger wifi signal throughout the house than with previous routers. Second, the speeds are great. I only have 2 devices that are are AX compatible at the moment, but the bandwidth increase on both is noticeable and the speedtests confirm it. Finally, it has all the latest and greatest features from things like WPA3 security to intelligent band transitions. The mobile app lacks a lot of the web functionality, but is good for simple changes and diagnostics. But of course, it’s expensive. Gotta pay to play blah blah blah, something something Alien reference. At the end of the day I’ve never bought something this ridiculous but I couldn’t be happier with it.

Great router for every kind of home use, doesn’t matter if you’re a gamer or you want a high-end router for your home.

Does everything I ever need! Just wish the game mode was automatically detect games that you want it to be turned on for. Also when using the vpn instant guard it freezes up my internet connection on my iPhone from time to time. My texts or messages will not come through. Also videos and other apps will stop loading. Other than that this is way better then netgear! I have never had to reboot it after set up and always reliable.

I bought some new toys that use AX technology so upgraded to the new device. The range (meshed with the ASUS RT-AX92U units) and notice better range. I can actual stream shows in my shed without buffering or lose of internet notices. My shed is about 50 feet from the house and no outside antennas. I liked the phone app interface color of the 5300 better, but other than that, all is pretty much the same. Still have so tweaking on settings but overall works great.

upload speed is terrible on wifi for an expensive router and ram is already half gone after only 11 devices

The GT AX1 1000 was just what I needed to distribute new fiber optic cable service in my home. It’s positioned in a 3rd floor room of my three-story home with nine foot ceilings. Signal strength is good throughout the home, and even the backyard, during most times of day. (I occasionally get some re-buffering on the TV in the lower level during especially busy times of day.) Adding another ASUS router in the lower level should solve that problem, and the addition sounds like a seamless plug and play using the AiMesh feature. I love the Tri-band (one 2.4GHz + two 5Ghz bands) feature, and have my unit configured to auto-select the band with the least amount of traffic for all connected wireless devices/clients. Also, one band can be prioritized for a particular application, a great feature for gamers. Or one band can be isolated just for guest-use. I wanted a WiFi 6 router, to accommodate that standard for many newer devices/clients, and the GT-AX fits that bill. The unit is futuristic-looking even though the 8 external antennas look weird (picture an upside down spider). The Aura RGB feature illuminates the symbol on the top with changing lights, a cool feature since it’s not located in a room where I sleep. Accessing the router remotely with a mobile device is a pleasure, allowing for settings and features adjustments on a well-designed, intuitively laid-out website. The purchase of this ASUS router was a good choice, and I’d make that choice again.

Previous to purchasing the GT-AX11000 I was using the ASUS RT-AC5300. The biggest difference I have found is the addition of the Trend Micro hardware that is now included. Before in the RT-AC5300 I would find attacks in the AI Protection. Now I find zero attacks coming through.
