Take your online gaming performance to the next level with the ROG GT-AX11000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Gaming Router from ASUS. Boasting a total aggregate data throughput of up to 11,000 Mb/s and eight external antennas, this tri-band router supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for data speeds up to 2.53 times faster than the Wi-Fi 5 standard.
The ROG GT-AX11000 comes equipped with a 2.5 Gb/s WAN/LAN Ethernet port, as well as a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port, four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, and two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 ports for sharing files or devices across the network.
Compatible with ASUS AiMesh Wi-Fi routers, the ROG GT-AX11000 supports 4 x 4 multi-user MIMO, which allows the router to transfer data with multiple devices simultaneously. The router also supports a series of ASUS technologies that help to ensure gaming data packets are prioritized on the network.

I have used many routers in the past and by far this is the fastest router I have ever used. No lag in-home network wifi access to server files. Local network video streaming is superb.

This is the best router I have ever owned… The router is very advanced IMO, but setup was actually not hard to figure out… Here is a breakdown on what I think about this router – Router App – The online app for this router is far more advanced than any I’ve seen with past routers from a different maker… You have complete control over everything you can think of, and then some… It is feature rich allowing the owner to customize the router to meet their individual needs… Performance – I have a Cox Gigablast internet plan that for the first time I am able to realize the full potential of… According to ‘Speedtest by Ookla’ I can get between 800-900 Mbps download speeds consistently when not connected to my VPN… With my VPN connected speeds are slightly slower in the 500-600 Mbps download speed… Range – I’m very impressed by the range of this router… I can stay connected to WiFi from my neighbors yard in excess of 75 feet away through the walls of my home on the 2.4Ghz channel… Final Thoughts – I am really impressed with this router… The online app. is feature rich allowing the owner complete control and the ability to customize the router to suit their needs… Both of my adult kids love this router for all of their online gaming… I would gladly recommend this router for gaming or anything else for that matter…

I previously owned a Dark Knight RT-N66U and when we moved into our new house it just wasn’t cutting it anymore so about 2 years ago I picked up a Linksys EA9500. BIG mistake! HUGE mistake. had nothing but problems with it and it just quit working about 2 weeks ago. I pulled the Dark Knight out of mothballs and it got us by until the GT-AX11000 arrived. Super easy setup and it been a godsend! ASUS, I will never stray again!

Works great and fast. Is on the bigger side of routers but still better than the nighthawk that kept disconnecting and was slower!!

There is constant drop of 5Ghz networks and also attached devices in the same room as the router on 2.4 drop signal or go into hibernation mode where although connected, cannot get on the internet unless I change networks from the router or shut off Wi-Fi on the affected device for an IP refresh even thou IP lease has not expired.

Router keeps losing internet and it is annoying. I wish I could get rid of it since there does not seem to be any other solution.

Super fast. Look amazing. The app is easy and great to manage. I have a 2 floors home at the second floor i am getting 2.3 g. Of speed wifi I did not guive 5 because i was disappointed of the distance after 20 feet drops speed to 95 mbs wifi i feel they want to push the mesh system For this router at 2.4mhz. Should be like the net gear fast atv100 feets

I LOVE IT it USED to b e better than it is NOW BUT still LOVE it. I am paying for a Gigabit speeds to my house BUT the ROG has SLOWED SPEEDS to HALF 525-600 MB lynski or ANY number of CHEAPER routers WOULD GIVE US THAT SPEED. Yes router has been rebooted, computer cleaned, hard reboot, even had ISP here to test speeds they were GIGABIT WITOUT the the ROG

While being oddly shaped, this router’s performance is amazing. I live in a larger house with many internet-enabled devices and this router handles it with ease. It even eliminated the need for a range extender which was required with my previous arrangement! The UI is very good and offers a variety of settings, making it quite flexible. Highly recommended!

I purchased this router to replace an ASUS 86u with a dead 2.4 ghz radio and as potential future proofing for WiFi 6. I’ve had it for a few weeks, and so far I’ve been satisfied with its performance. It produces a strong signal on all three of its bands (2.4 and two 5 ghz) and adequately covers a fairly large house (3000 square feet). Setup and firmware updating were simple thanks to Asus’s iPhone app (one need not use a wired connection to set it up, though you may still want to do so, depending on your patience for navigating the app). The gigabit Ethernet likewise runs perfectly fine. All told, it thus far appears to be a solid router capable of handing many devices without any issue or slow down. So far, so good. As of write now, I’m giving this one full marks. That said, I do have a history of having an ASUS router randomly and permanently lose a radio, but I’m hoping that problem doesn’t repeat this time round. Finally, if aesthetics are important to you, this router definitely suffers from a bad case of “gamer style” in the looks department. It’s large (roughly the same footprint as a game console but slightly taller because of the antennae), has a love it or hate it red and black color scheme (reminiscent of an MSI graphics card, actually), and has an rgb led logo on the top. Even Placed on an entertainment center with game consoles or cable boxes, it stands out though not enough to bother me, so I’d imagine it would be a sore thumb without those other devices around. As a father of small, messy children, and as both a pc and console gamer, I’m used to that sort of thing and it doesn’t bother me or affect my enjoyment. If you’re more of a minimalist or don’t like large, flashy tech, it might bother you more.

Upgraded from a nighthawk x8. By far, a massive improvement. I also use it with the newest range extender for mess. It was a little bit of research to get the mesh to work but, once i figured out how to link them the right way, it was smoking fast!! L9ve it and will keep Asus in my list of buying when the time is needed.

I am having a terrible time maintaining Internet connectivity. Every two or three days the red light comes on my router and Internet conductivity stops until I powered down the router and power it backup. I’m using a Spectrum provided cable modem and they tell me there have been no alarms or indications of problems from their modem. I did try a new cat8 cable between the modem and the router with no change. Even traded out the cable modem with spectrum with no change. Quite exasperating in that I cannot prove whether this is a cable modem, cable provider or ASUS router problem.
