Take your online gaming performance to the next level with the ROG GT-AX11000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Gaming Router from ASUS. Boasting a total aggregate data throughput of up to 11,000 Mb/s and eight external antennas, this tri-band router supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for data speeds up to 2.53 times faster than the Wi-Fi 5 standard.
The ROG GT-AX11000 comes equipped with a 2.5 Gb/s WAN/LAN Ethernet port, as well as a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port, four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, and two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 ports for sharing files or devices across the network.
Compatible with ASUS AiMesh Wi-Fi routers, the ROG GT-AX11000 supports 4 x 4 multi-user MIMO, which allows the router to transfer data with multiple devices simultaneously. The router also supports a series of ASUS technologies that help to ensure gaming data packets are prioritized on the network.

Yes, this router does look like it might flip over and start chasing me around the house. But so far it has been docile and reliable. The router is pretty bulky, with a LARGE footprint, so make sure you have a good wide table or shelf to set it on. It has enough options inside it to make your head spin. I havent done anything very advanced, but what I have tried impressed me. This router is clearly FAR more secure than my previous one, and has terrific reporting features showing vulnerabilities, network usage, and more. While pricey, it was worth the money; assuming it doesnt spring to life and attack.

So far, the ASUS GT-AX11000 router has been performing flawlessly. The GT-AX11000 was easy to setup, and my wireless devices connected to the router without any issues. I am very impressed with the range it is able to detect my 61 wireless devices. The square footage of my house is 2100 sq. ft. So far, my furthest devices are performing with easy, and I am receiving good download and upload speed. I would highly recommend the ASUS GT-AX11000 router to anyone who has a demand to services over 60+ wireless devices, that gives great coverage for a large area.

The ROG is an awesome router, I have multiple 4K streaming devises and online gaming with no problems at all, unlike my old router. My old router had problems streaming HD music but the ROG performs flawlessly.

I did not necessarily want a gaming router. I was looking for the fastest router available and I came across the GT-AX11000 in my search. I have not had any issues and installation was actually pretty seamless. I am hoping for continued good news; however, I need to see out the users of the router react and respond. I get a lot of complaints in my life and I am hoping that after $450 I have bought past the minor complaints.

This router is a lot faster than my old DLink DIR-890L. Upgraded it so that I can utilize WiFi6. This does NOT disappoint. While the footprint is large (just about the same as my old DLink), it is somewhat of a conversational piece. I do see a little bit of a longer range from my old router, but nothing too significant. The main difference is the speed! When it does connect, watch out! It’s blazing fast.

There is only one minor glitch. I have the led lights set off on the main router in my two GT-AX11000 AIMESH setup, but I have no known way of turning off the three led lights on my node AX11000. The wifi connections to 56 devices currently in active use in my home ranges from good to excellent with no known problems in network quality.

….I like the features as a high end router. The gaming is not as important. I wish there was a way to select Gaming andor Main Workstation router. It would be great if there way the ability to turn off the gaming interface on the opening page.

I have a Nighthawk ‘gaming’ router, and had just had my ISP bump my broadband from 100mbps to 1,000mbps (1 gig, basically). Well my router would not, no matter what I did knowing what I was doing, get that thing up to speed over about 300mbps. Unacceptable. I found the absolute best router I could find (my wife didn’t understand the benefits at first), and these B&H folk are solid people. God bless.

Pretty involved set up if you want to use it to its full potential. Well worth it.

Exceptional router. I live in a larger 5.5k sf multi-level Cape style house and paired this with 3 of the smaller 6000 series routers. To sat it works amazing is an understatement. The mesh system and set up was a breeze. I highly recommend Asus. Ive had a couple high prices Netgear solutions and their support is lackluster. They want a credit card before answering a simple question. I also found the forums and online information scattered. Asus stands by their solutions and this is really best in class. The app works flawlessly.

This was an easy purchase since I don’t really like renting the modems and routers that the cable companies have. I prefer separates. This thing was overkill for me but I own a large house and have over 35 devices connected to the internet from smart lights and switches, computers, tablets, phones, playstation’s and Xbox’s not to mention guests. The app is great for seeing the network performance and setup was super easy. I am not really trying to dive into all the features of the Router since some of it I don’t understand but the bottom line is that this thing performs way better than the rental equipment or anything I currently had set up. I have it hidden away in my closet where my network is setup so I don’t really get to enjoy the crazy spider looks or the lights. I set the lights up to alert me if there is an issue though. I haven’t had a single issue with any of my devices since installing. Just great speed.

I have a wide mix of wifi based gadgets in my home that vary widely in their ability to send and receive wifi signals. With an easily established AIMesh setup with two of these routers, there are no dead spots in my home, with the ASUS rating the gadget’s signal strength as great in all cases. I have very strong signals going in a directed manner focused on my devices, and not annoying the wifi devices of my neighbors.
