Take your online gaming performance to the next level with the ROG GT-AX11000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Gaming Router from ASUS. Boasting a total aggregate data throughput of up to 11,000 Mb/s and eight external antennas, this tri-band router supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for data speeds up to 2.53 times faster than the Wi-Fi 5 standard.
The ROG GT-AX11000 comes equipped with a 2.5 Gb/s WAN/LAN Ethernet port, as well as a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port, four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, and two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 ports for sharing files or devices across the network.
Compatible with ASUS AiMesh Wi-Fi routers, the ROG GT-AX11000 supports 4 x 4 multi-user MIMO, which allows the router to transfer data with multiple devices simultaneously. The router also supports a series of ASUS technologies that help to ensure gaming data packets are prioritized on the network.

I bought two to use AiMesh in a large home with many connected devices like light switches, TVs, MANY computers for a large family. The AiMesh dropped signal often. At least once per 1 hour episode we had a drop out and would have to wait 3-4 minutes for the device to reconnect. I was getting ready to order another one to extend the AiMesh more but in the morning one died unexpectedly. I’ll look for another brand to build my WiFi network.

It is not a good router for the price. Hopefully a firmware update will fix the issues.

Not only was this item expensive but it also stopped working only after a few months of use. Very disappointed.

The speed is 1,000 % better on WiFi. One of the antenna broke out of the box and the appear to be cheaply attached. Other than that outstanding router.

Great product and good throughput. Web UI is good. People with Iot devices beware. Not much information around on changes necessary to support some older Iot devices and that is why I didn’t give it 5 stars!

Nice router, lots of features. Set up in minutes. Great for fast internet, streaming. I was able to turn off the glowing, changing middle display but couldn’t figure out how to turn off the bright LEDs in front. Black gorilla tape did the trick!

I purchased the ASUS ROG GT-AX11000 in early July. The set up was easy, and I was up and running within about 30 minutes. We’ve had great Wifi reception throughout the entire house…even into the basement!! With the advent of COVID19 restrictions, we’ve had to work from home quite a bit more than usual. Our old router wasn’t cutting it. Once we had the GT-AX11000 installed, web meetings were a breeze, with ZERO dropouts or buffering. We originally bought the GT-AX11000 for use with our PS-4, and it handles that gaming system very well. But, we were even more enthusiastic about this router once we saw it could handle ALL our devices and improve our work-from-home efforts. It may be a bit on the pricey side, but it is worth what we spent in peace-of-mind to know we can handle work, streaming & gaming. After all, you get what you pay for!!!

My previous router speedtest.net results were around 75 – 90 Mbps on my wifi devices. The average wifi speed with this router is around 227 – 230 Mbps. This router has plenty of options and features to configure and can seem a little intimidating at first. But once you select the options/features they are very descriptive and easy to use. The price is more than I would normally pay for a router, it is well worth it. I would highly recommend this router to anyone looking for more bandwidth and speed. Of course you still have to keep in mind the limitations of your internet provider. I use Spectrum and have had no issues between the ISP and router.

I notice a speed increase from the GT-AC5300 router, I have AX wireless adapters on my pc. The connection is rock solid. The dashboard is very helpful. Most routers I checked out didn’t have status lights as this one has. My only complaint is it only has 4 network connectors, The GT-AC5300 had 8

Replaced my 5 year old ASUS RT-AC68 with the AX11000. Also bought the ASUS AX6000 to create an AI mesh with the RT-AC68. Set-up was super easy. Kept my SSID addresses and password the same so all 17 wireless clients didnt have to be reconfigured. Adding the AX6000 and RT68 as mesh nodes was as simple as turning them on and letting the AX11000 search for them. The only caveat was having to return the RT68 to factory specs. My download speeds in my media room have more than doubled and not one of the clients has dropped a connection or refused to connect. This router is certainly overkill for my needs and I doubt Ill ever use even a fraction of its capabilities. Was a little concerned with the reviews prior to purchase but this has been a painless and stellar upgrade. If the AX11000 is even half as dependable as the RT68 Ill be happy.
