Built on the AMD A320 chipset, the ASUS PRIME A320I-K AM4 Mini-ITX Motherboard supports first-, second-, and third-generation AMD Ryzen processors with an AM4 socket. The two 288-pin DIMM slots support up to 32GB of 3600 MHz DDR4 RAM. There is a single PCIe 3.0 x16 slot. There are also four SATA III 6 Gb/s connectors as well as one M.2 socket. Other notable features are Realtek RTL8111H Gigabit Ethernet LAN, Realtek ALC887 eight-channel HD audio, and an ASUS Aura Sync header, which is an onboard connector for RGB LED strips (sold separately).

This motherboard is certainly great for its price but being so cheap comes with compromises. It lacks a front I/O USB-C header on the board and you cannot overclock the CPU because of its A320 chipset. This by all means is not a deal-breaker but it should be taken into consideration for your build. Other than those two flaws I believe it’s one of the best ITX motherboards for its price.

Took a chance on an A320 chipset for my Ryzen 5 3600 processor, and was please to find the UEFI was already up to date with latest firmware, and indeed supported the 3rd gen Ryzen out of the box. Not as feature rich as new and more expensive motherboards, but knew that going into the purchase. Cheapest AM4 ITX motherboard I could find, and happy with the purchase.

I don’t ask a lot of a motherboard; I expect it to accept the parts I install on it (provided I did proper research on compatibility), and I pray to the Nine Divines that it works correctly and doesn’t fail on me. So far, this board has done just that: it accepted the CPU and RAM that I installed, somehow manages to help my system run a bit faster than my previous mobo, and hasn’t died on me during these first few weeks of ownership. The price was right, and provided that it continues to work as advertised going forward, I would be happy to recommend this motherboard for anyone doing a Mini-ITX build.

Bought in April 2020 for use as a low power router and works with 3000G out of the box. It had the latest BIOS update out of the box and is perfect for my needs. Uses about 27 watts at idle.
