If you plan to use this motherboard for anything other than Windows, then forget it. The board itself is cheaply made and the quality of its build is very poor. You can see cold soldring shots all over the board. Worst, it is not compatable with Operating Systems other than Windows. It took me a whole day to understand why it will not boot from a bootable Linux on USB. After a whole day of search, I found out that you need to install a legacy Graphics card in order for the board to be compatable with operating systems other than Windows. What a nightmare of failure in design and engineering. Why would I need to install a dedicated Graphics card to make the board compatable with other operating systems. The board has a built-in HDMI and I was using a CPU with built-in GPU. This is just a wast of money and highly recommend that you look at other boards from MSI or Gigabyte. I am very disappointed at ASUS for this failure board. Read about it on the internet to hear all kind of non sense tricks that you need to do to make this bord work.

Excellent motherboard. Supports Intel Optane RST. The performance is incredible. I installed Windows 10 and when I log in, I feel like I am on my iPad. Everything is just “there”. No waiting. ASUS documentation is good and ASUS phone support was great. Everything works well! Love it.
