The ASUS Republic of Gamers Rampage VI Extreme Encore LGA 2066 E-ATX Gaming Motherboard is designed for enthusiasts looking to push their system. Built on the Intel X299 chipset, this motherboard supports Intel Core-X series processors with an LGA 2066 socket. For maximum performance, users can install up to 256GB of quad-channel DDR4 memory with overclocked speeds of 4266 MHz. With three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, this board can support up to 3-way NVIDIA SLI or AMD CrossFireX configurations. Storage options include multiple SATA III ports as well as two M.2 slots. The motherboard has 2@8 pin EPS connectors and 1@6 pin. No one makes and 6 pin EPS connector. Am I supposed to use a 6 pin PCI connector on the motherboard – I have always heard that would damage the motherboard. I have been having issues booting to windows. Your Fan Expansion card also requires a 6 pin power connector. Does that use a PCI or EPS cable? This is a mess, very disappointed with Asus and the motherboard.
