The ASUS Republic of Gamers STRIX LC 120 Liquid CPU Cooler is an all-in-one closed-loop cooling solution for both Intel and AMD processors. Its heatsink features customizable RGB LED lighting as well as pre-applied thermal paste. The radiator measures 120mm long and is densely packed with aluminum fins to help heat dissipation. Moreover, it comes with a radiator-optimized fan, which can operate at up to 2500 rpm for a max airflow of 80.95 CFM with a static pressure rating of 5.0mm-H20 at 37.6 dBA. I had a custom made desktop that started overheating. The CPU cooler was making noise like a bearing going out. I found the ROG LC 120 as a compatible replacement and since my motherboard is also ASUS, decided to keep it in the family. Installed easy and has worked great.

The ROG Strix LC 120 was easy to install and looks great in my system. I have been experimenting with the various lighting options in the new Armoury Crate and Aura Creator software and am impressed with the array of options you have now. This AIO is a replacement for an older aging AIO. It is far quieter and keeps the system even more cool. I removed the pre-applied thermal compound and applied my own aftermarket compound to decrease CPU heat even further. Now I average temperatures in the mid 40’s-50’s for average system loads. I would only recommend getting one with a larger radiator if you have space, which I do not. Great purchase. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it.
