The dual external antennas ensure you receive an optimal signal while the built-in positioning LED indicators guide you through the process of selecting the prime location for your range extender. Once you find the spot, you can connect the RP-AC55 to your existing network using the WPS button and then refer to the ASUS Extender app on your smartphone to manage a variety of settings within your newly configured network.

Easy to setup, but it’s extremely speed restrictive. Devices attached to the extender drop and will not reconnect, because they have to internet connection. Main router is good, just not the extender.

It doesn’t enhance the signal in any way it just carries the mbps on a separate signal. I got 2-6 mbps of download speed not even playing

I bought this to extend the range of my Ai Mesh system. While the installation was very simple, It doesn’t quite do what I wanted it to do. Only because I need to extend the 2.4 band to connect a couple devices and it only seems to extend the 5GHz network is why I did not give a 5 star rating.
