Boost the speed, reliability, and range of your home wireless network with the RT-AC68U Dual-Band Wireless-AC1900 Gigabit Wi-Fi Router from ASUS. Capable of up to 1900 Mb/s of total Wi-Fi throughput, this dual-band Wi-Fi 5 router supports AiMesh technology, which lets you use multiple AiMesh-enabled routers together to create a single, seamless Wi-Fi network.
The RT-AC68U comes equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port and four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, ideal for wired connections to computers, game consoles, TV set-top boxes, or another AiMesh router. USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 2.0 Type-A ports let you connect printers, storage devices, and other USB devices to the network. AiProtection Pro service helps to defend your network from online threats, while parental controls let you decide how and when your kids can connect to the internet. Up to three guest networks let you grant Wi-Fi access to visitors without having to compromise your Wi-Fi password.

Wanted to go from a combined modem/router to separate Arris modem and router. Wanted a good model that I can implement VPN into it. Selected this one, and quite happy. Very sophisticated and many features! The only thing haven’t solved, is my 2.4ghz seems to have slowed down, but 5.0ghz I’d right up there. Have switched as many devices over to 5.0 as will take it. Also moved router to top of computer desk. Good quality so far.
