We have had at least three ISPs because we thought it was their fault that our connection was so shoddy- weak signals, dropped connections, and difficulty connecting with the modem. We will be returning this item as it has been a huge frustrating disappointment.

I bought the RT-AX3000 as an upgrade over my Asus RT-N66U because of the improved security and wide range of additional features. It provides expanded wifi coverage and upgrades like AI Mesh, Alexa compatible, WPA3, and WiFi6. Definately worth the money to upgrade now before it is needed.

I bought 2 of the routers and created an AiMesh network. This strengthened my wi-fi network signal, as well as extended the wi-fi signal range.

After doing weeks of research on a replacement router for my Ting fiber service I landed on this one. I’ve been an ASUS fan for quite a while now and this is another product I’m beyond pleased with. Set-up was a piece of cake and the app has a ton of great functions and customization options. 10 thumbs up; would recommend.

RT-AX3000 Router will not connect wirelessly to Roku. Tried several suggested configuration changes by Roku community and Roku support. Returned the router and bought its Intel twin RT-AX58U. RT-AX58U connected to Roku devices with no configuration changes.

My first AX3000 was defective. Dropping all functions every coupla’ minutes. It took about 6hrs, finally working with tech support, to determine the problem was not self induced. B&H was quick to support my return and replacement of this router. My replacement AX3000 setup was easy and is working flawlessly. One thing I was not aware of is this router does Not support the Guest Wireless on the extended Mesh network. Four Stars (not 3) because of the so-simple B&H return policy, and stronger signal coming out of this router!

I felt it was time to replace my 10 year old Asus router ( which was amazing compared to all the previous routers I had). I tried another Asus router recommended by a salesperson. That one wasnt nearly as good as my 10 year old one. After speaking with a more experienced salesperson he assured me the RX-AX3000 would be much better than my original. He was right! I never saw much remarkable speeds. I have a computer that is quite old and and old wireless adapter. Both have surpassed my expectations. Speedtests are much better including all my Roku TV connections. Excellent choice, dont skimp, even when it comes to a lower grade Asus. You will be happy to went for a few dollars more.

My old Netgear router finally died and I decided on this asus because of good reviews and the fact that it melds easily with Nord. It seems to be a great improvement over the Netgear for one no more dead spots in the house. Overall I am happy with my choice. .

The ax3000 so far has been a solid router. Works throughout the house at 2.5G and two floors get decent 5G. With gigabit fios I typically get 200/200 on the wifi and 800-900 when wired into the router.

My WIFI signal isn’t very solid, and I’m not sure if its the router, the matching extender or both. Its not nearly as solid as my old Asus router though.
